Parish of Fenelon Falls and Coboconk In person services have resumed. ALL ARE WELCOME! We worship every Sunday at Christ Church Coboconk at 9 am, and at St. James Fenelon Falls at 11 am.

During the summer months St. John's Rosedale is open. Service at 9am. SUMMER VISITORS WELCOME! Children’s Sunday School at St. James will recommence on Sunday Sept. 8. 11 am.

We give thanks for the beautiful way ACW brought the local community together, celebrating the incredible creativity, gifts and talents of local women quilters and crafters.

The work of women's hands truly brings blessings to our community & our church.

Wonderful joint service today at Christ Church. À beautiful church. The church was full!
Rev. Moumita’s sermon spoke to all of us. She drew a parallel between the ups and downs and team work of the Amazing Race tv show, to the ups and down of our own lives, to the ups and downs of Jesus’ life with his “ team” of apostles.
God is always on our team.

SEASON OF CREATION 2026 BIBLE STUDY SERIES

Between September 1st and 4th October we invite you to join us for Bible Study every Wednesday at Christ Church as we celebrate Creator God and God's creation .

Come and join us to re-read and re-read the Bible discuss about Stewardship taking care of Mother Earth, Climate Justice, Nexus between ecological degradation and war and human trafficking.

Join us for NATURE SPA as we hug the trees, feel the grass , hear the sounds of water by the lake, watch the birds and discover God our Living Water.

26th August 2026 Bible Study was on Re-Reading the Creation Story Genesis 1: 1 to 28

Creative methodology was used. Bible Study Group members went out in the garden picked up an element of nature a small pebble , or a leaf, twig or moss etc and reflected what is means to them in discovering God's breath in nature.

Some observed the humming bees in lavender bush and hydrangea flower and shared about the symbiotic relationship among Gods creation.

Others shared how the green grass reminds them of the Evergreen nature of God of life.

Some shared as the gurgling water on the stream flows on the pebbles and shapes it God our Living water shapes our life.

CHRIST CHURCH BIBLE STUDY GROUP

As we read together the Exodus 1.8 to 2: I - 10
We discovered the power of the Vulnerable in midst of violence.

Bible Pericope was contexualized and stories were shared by Bible study group members how they challenged those misusing power and authority and how the vulnerable can bring about transformation through resistance to affirm Right to life and dignity of all guided by God's wisdom

A meal together at Rosies Resturant in Coboconk by the lake where the community meets added an extra flavour of joy of fellowship and eating meals together
