🐾 Blessing of the Animals in Sexsmith! 🐶🐱

Last week, Fr. James and the community of Immaculate Conception Church in Sexsmith gathered for a special outdoor service to bless their pets.

St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and ecology, inspires us to appreciate, respect, and care for all of God’s creation. In 1979, Pope St. John Paul II proclaimed him the patron saint of ecology.

🙏 May St. Francis remind us of our responsibility to care for all living creatures!
