What a weekend. ❤️

I’m not sure we can put into one post everything that God spoke into our church through Pastor Barry this weekend, but there are some things I never want us to forget.

We were reminded that God has so, so, so, so much more.

More than survival.
More than going through the motions.
More than simply getting knocked down and finding the strength to get back up again.

We were challenged to renew our minds. To stop allowing the thinking of an old season to determine what is possible in the next one.

We were reminded that there is victory in our voice, deliverance in our declaration, and power in our praise.

That faith has a voice.

That we need to know who we are in Christ and know Who lives inside of us.

That we need to hear the Word, speak the Word, obey the Word and hold onto the Word.

And maybe one of the biggest challenges of the weekend was this:

Obedience is our greatest weapon.

We don’t need to understand everything God is doing before we obey Him. We need to stay close. Stay surrendered. Stay willing.

We were reminded not to despise the process.

Sometimes the very thing we thought was destroying us was actually being used to transform us.

Sometimes God doesn’t immediately remove us from the hard place because He is producing something in us there.

So we pray, “Father, help me finish strong.”

We were reminded that when the battle comes, we still have to show up on the battlefield. But we show up knowing:

The battle is not ours. It belongs to the Lord.

And through everything we heard this weekend, one message kept coming back again and again.

We are not being strengthened just for ourselves.

God wants His church to become an answer.

To love people well.
To honor people well.
To pray instead of gossip.
To extend mercy instead of judgment.
To reach down and pull somebody else up.

Because you cannot separate the authority of God from the love of God.

“You will not have authority over something you don’t love.”

Pastor Barry and Tammy, thank you.

Thank you for pouring into this house. Thank you for challenging us. Thank you for calling us higher. Thank you for reminding us what God has placed inside of us.

Now it is our responsibility to carry what has been deposited.

Church, let’s not go back to the same old, same old.

Let’s keep the raw, obedient, childlike faith Pastor Barry challenged us to carry.

Let’s stay close to Jesus.

Let’s keep honoring.

Let’s keep loving.

Let’s keep believing.

Let’s keep speaking His Word.

Let’s obey when He speaks.

And let’s arise and become the people God has called us to be.

God has so, so, so, so much more. And we are ready. ❤️🔥

Happy Father's Day! 💙

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, foster fathers, adoptive fathers, and spiritual fathers who faithfully love, lead, protect, and encourage those God has entrusted to them.
Thank you for the sacrifices that often go unseen, for the prayers you pray, the wisdom you share, the example you set, and the love you give day after day.
Fatherhood is one of the clearest pictures we have of God's heart for His children. A heart that loves unconditionally, forgives freely, protects fiercely, and never gives up.
To the dads who are in the trenches of parenting, the grandfathers investing in the next generation, and the spiritual fathers helping others grow in their faith—we honor you today.
"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God." – 1 John 3:1
