Ascent Church Ascent Church meets Sundays at 10:00am for our main service. Antioch is a church with a passion to see God made famous throughout Essex, Canada, and the world.

We believe God is still moving today and His heart is to see lives transformed with His love and power. We are a vibrant church with contemporary worship, relevant messages and a community of people who love others.

They were waiting for a Messiah who would conquer Rome, take back their nation and put Israel on top.

Instead, Jesus washed feet. He loved enemies. He forgave sinners. He laid down His life.

It looked like the opposite of winning.

And yet, 2,000 years later, Rome is gone and the Kingdom Jesus announced is still changing lives around the world.

Jesus did the opposite of what they expected Him to do—and changed the world.
