MY LORD GOD,

I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think that I am following Your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please You does in fact please You. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this You will lead me by the right road though I may know nothing about it. Therefore I will trust You always though I seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. I will not fear, for You are ever with me, and You will never leave me to face perils alone.

The Good Samaritan did more than feel concern. Compassion moved him closer, interrupted his plans, and became practical care for someone who could offer nothing in return.

“Go and do likewise.” — Luke 10:37

Our free weekly devotional linked in bio will help you carry the teachings of Jesus into the ordinary places you live and serve.

You thought that place would destroy you.
But God met you there—and gave you peace instead.

Sometimes the answer to your prayer isn’t God removing the pain.
Sometimes it’s His presence giving you peace while you walk through it.

What you thought would break you may become the place where you discover just how faithful God is. 🙏🤍

“Man should tremble, the world should quake, all Heaven should be deeply moved when the Son of God appears on the altar in the hands of the priest.” — St. Francis of Assisi

This Sunday, remember what you are walking into.

At every Holy Mass, Heaven meets earth.

The same Jesus who was born in Bethlehem, walked the roads of Galilee, died on Calvary, rose from the dead, and reigns in Heaven becomes truly present upon the altar.

Body. Blood. Soul. Divinity.

We can become so familiar with Mass that we forget the magnitude of what is happening right in front of us.

So before you walk through those doors this Sunday, prepare your heart.

Silence the distractions.
Look toward the altar.
Remember Who you are about to encounter.

The King of the universe is waiting for you.

May we never lose our wonder before the Holy Eucharist.

God is not silent just because you cannot hear Him clearly. Sometimes our lives are so full of noise that we leave no room to listen. Phones, news, stress, opinions, work, and constant distraction can fill every quiet moment.

Scripture says, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). Silence does not force God to speak. It helps us become more ready to notice Him through prayer, Scripture, the sacraments, and the quiet movements of conscience.

As the quote attributed to St. Teresa of Calcutta says, “Sometimes we think that we don’t hear God’s voice. Not because He isn’t speaking, but because we have the volume of the world way too loud.”

Maybe the problem is not that God has stopped speaking. Maybe we have stopped making room to listen.

What is one thing in your life that may be louder than God right now?

Someone else may need this reminder to make room for God again.

🙏 WEEKLY MASS AND A LONGER LIFE? THERE’S MORE TO THE STORY.

Studies have found an association between regular attendance at religious services and several positive outcomes, including lower mortality, better mental well-being, stronger social relationships, and greater overall life satisfaction.

But for Catholics, the Holy Mass is far more than a gathering or social activity.

At the heart of the Mass is the Holy Eucharist—the Real Presence of Jesus Christ. From the earliest centuries, Christians recognized the Eucharist as a source of divine life. St. Ignatius of Antioch famously called it the “medicine of immortality.”

Science can study patterns such as health, longevity, social connection, and psychological well-being, but it cannot measure the supernatural reality of Christ truly present in the Eucharist.

For the Catholic believer, Holy Communion is an encounter with Jesus Himself.

The Eucharist strengthens the soul with grace, deepens our hope, nourishes our faith, and draws us into closer communion with God and His Church.

So, every Sunday, when we approach the altar, we are not merely attending a weekly ceremony.

We are coming to meet Christ. ❤️‍🔥🙏
