As we gather for worship tomorrow, we invite everyone to wear orange as a sign of remembrance, awareness, and our commitment to truth and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.

Orange Shirt Day reminds us that every child matters and encourages us to listen, learn, and walk together in the spirit of reconciliation.

We hope you’ll join us in wearing orange this Sunday as we worship together.

Our Sunday School Picnic was a great success!

Even though the rain changed our plans, we made it work and enjoyed a wonderful morning of fun, fellowship, and laughter at the church. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special!

Due to the weather forecast, the Sunday School Picnic will be held at the church instead of Heritage Park. We look forward to gathering together for food, fun, and fellowship indoors.

The Sunday School Picnic is planned for tomorrow, Sunday, June 14th, at Heritage Park. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the picnic will be moved indoors to the church instead.

Father’s Day is just around the corner!

We are creating a special Father’s Day video to celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who have made a difference in our lives.

Please send us your favourite photos so we can include them in the video. Whether it’s a recent picture or a treasured memory from years ago, we would love to help honour the special men who have supported, guided, and loved us.

Pentecost is often called the “birthday of the Church” and red symbolizes the Holy Spirit and the flames of fire. We look forward to worshipping together with you!

May 17 is International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. Join us today in support of the non-negotiable truth of every person’s dignity.

Creator, we come to you with both the joys and the sorrows of our hearts.
We are grateful for the gift of life and the joy that it can bring.
For families and friends who love us.
For allies who stick up for us, even when we cannot risk sticking up for ourselves.
For the great diversity you have created in our world.
We pray for those who suffer from discrimination because of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
Who worry about their employment or who cannot find a job.
For those who must hide who they are to find housing.
For those who are not safe on our streets.
For those who do not feel safe in their place of worship.
Help us to end homophobia, transphobia, and biphobia, and all forms of discrimination and hate.
Show us the way to make this world a better place for all.
