"God helps those who help themselves" - sounds biblical, right? Actually, God never said that.
The truth is far more beautiful: God helps those who are HELPLESS. Romans 5:6 tells us "When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners." You don't need to have it all together before God steps in. He meets you in your weakness, your brokenness, your complete inability to save yourself.
Like the woman who suffered for 12 years in Mark 5:25-34 who simply reached out to touch Jesus' robe - she came empty-handed and desperate. And Jesus healed her. That's grace. Not performance. Not earning your way. Just reaching out in your need.
Stop carrying all those "shoulds." You don't need to try harder - you need to trust deeper. God isn't waiting for you to figure it out first. He's already reaching toward you.
