Christ the King, Edmonton Our mission is to love God and love people, within and beyond our community as Jesus commanded.

“Christ the King is an Anglican church rooted in the historic Christian faith, nourished and guided by the power of the Holy Spirit, and purposefully sharing God’s love through Jesus Christ.” As a group of Christians we are all ‘on the way’, so that statement summarizes our identity and serves as an aspiration. All that we are and all that we do is done under, in, and by the grace of God. We hope

that you will feel welcome if you come and join us, and that this website will give you a sense of who we are as well as some insight into the Christian faith as it has been passed on to us.

As the College of Bishops travel to begin their meetings tomorrow, we pray for them to be filled with all that is necessary to lead and steward the church well and to God’s glory.

Almighty and everlasting God, from whom cometh every good and perfect gift: Send down upon our Bishops and Clergy, and all Congregations committed to their charge, the healthful Spirit of thy grace; and that they may truly please thee, pour upon them the continual dew of thy blessing. Grant this, O Lord, for the honour of our Advocate and Mediator, Jesus Christ. Amen.
