The Synod Worship & Arts Ministry Team invites you to join an in-depth planning workshop focusing on Epiphanytide–a season of miracles, prophecy, and the revelation of God’s Word to the world! This two hour online event will take place via ZOOM on Sunday, November 6th, 2-4 pm. This virtual planning session is open to all, with an emphasis toward lay leadership teams and rostered leaders involved in seasonal worship planning. Visit www.albertasynod.ca to register.

-Examine seasonal themes and their incorporation into our music, worship, and visual arts
-Explore “Walking Wet”: Enriching your congregation’s seasonal experience via daily practices
-Introduce resources for alternative worship formats

Free Online Faith Painting

Lent invites us to make our hearts and minds ready for remembering Jesus' life, his death, and his resurrection. The season of Lent is a time to refocus our faith, to spend time in reflection on Christ's sacrifice and on our response to that sacrifice.

The Worship and the Arts Ministry Team invites you to participate in a paint event where you will be guided in the creation of a painting with a Lenten theme. Join with others across the Synod to create a Lenten painting for your own home, or as a gift for someone else.

All skill levels are welcome.

Registration deadline: noon on Friday, March 4, 2022
