It's that time of year again! The annual Fringe festival is in full swing!
The south entrance of our parking lot is still open via the alleyway. Do take care as there will be more pedestrians about over the next couple of weeks. Make sure to come and enjoy a Fringe show!
To be honest, it's kind of cool that my place of work, the Synod of Alberta, which is adjacent to Trinity Lutheran Church, is located in what some might call the cultural epicenter of Edmonton. That is, just off Whyte Ave.
On our street is the Grindstone Theatre and Bistro, which is also the official venue of the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival.
Just outside our doors on 81 Ave, there will be block parties as well as theater shows starting today and running until the 23rd.
And look, there is our humble little inner-city church & synod, the unofficial backdrop of it all! 😀
