Join us in praying for Archbishop Hero on the fifth anniversary of his episcopal ordination. May God continue to bless him with wisdom, strength, and joy as he leads our Archdiocese.

O God, eternal shepherd of the faithful, who tend your Church in countless ways and rule over her in love, grant, we pray, that Stephen, your servant, whom you have set over your people, may preside in the place of Christ over the flock whose shepherd he is, and be faithful as a teacher of doctrine, a priest of sacred worship and as one who serves them by governing.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

We are pleased to announce that Archbishop Stephen Hero will ordain Daniel Salé and Andrew Sheedy to the Transitional Diaconate for the Archdiocese of Edmonton.

Please join us for this special Mass and keep Daniel and Andrew in your prayers as they continue their journey toward the priesthood.

Almighty God, giver of every grace, send your Holy Spirit into our midst to assist Andrew and Daniel as they prepare for ordination to the Transitional Diaconate, ready to offer themselves forever in the ministry of the Word, of the altar, and charity, as servants to all. Grant this through Christ, our Lord. Amen

Today we celebrate the priestly ordination anniversary of Fr. Miroslav Kostarzewski, giving thanks to God for his faithful ministry and generous response to the Lord’s call.

Born on February 26, 1980, in Węgrów, Poland, Fr. Miroslav was ordained to the priesthood on June 10, 2006, at the Cathedral of Siedlce by Bishop Zbigniew Kiernikowski.

Over the years, he has faithfully served in numerous parishes across the Archdiocese, including Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Jasper, Hinton, Stettler, Bashaw, Castor, and Red Deer.

He has also served as a member of the Presbyteral Council, Dean, and member of the College of Consultors. Today, he continues his ministry as Pastor of Good Shepherd Parish, leading with dedication, compassion, and pastoral zeal.

Lord, send holy and generous men to serve Your Church as faithful priests. Grant them courage to answer Your call and perseverance to follow it with joy.
