El Leon De La Tribu De Juda

Es muy facil pensar de Jesus como una oveja; mansita, docil, y aun sumisa. Pero no es comun pensar de el como un leon.

Leamos Apocalipsis 5: 5 dice, "Y uno de los ancianos me dijo: No llores. He aqui el Leon de la tribu de Juda, la Raiz de David, ha vencido para abrir el libro, y desatar sus siete sellos"

Es la Biblia la que lo llama, El Leon de la tribu de Juda.
Juda era uno de los doce hijos de Jacob.
Veamos lo que su mismo padre Jacob dijo de su hijo Juda, en Genesis 49: 8-9 "Juda, alabarte han tus hermanos. Tu mano en la cerviz de tus enemigos. Los hijos de tu padre se inclinaran a ti.
Cachorro de leon Juda.
De la presa subiste, hijo mio.
Encorvose, echose como leon.
Asi como leon viejo, quien lo despertara?"
Si leemos la geneologia natural y humana de Jesus en el libro de Mateo capitulo 1, veremos que venia del linaje de Juda, y de David.

Con esta declaracion los Cristianos creyentes deberiamos de estar contentos sabiendo que nuestro Rey es un Rey Victorioso y Conquistador, y que con el estamos seguros de vencer porque el es un Vencedor.
Esta seguridad nos debe dar esperanza y confianza de que seremos liverados por el Leon de la tribu de Juda.

The Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah

Revelation 5: 5 says, "And one of the elders saith unto me, "Weep not: Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof""

It is easy and common to think of Jesus as a lamb; by its tenderness, gentleness, and even submissiveness, but it is not common to think of Him as a lion.
It is the Bible however that says it. There must be a reason for it.

Let us read what Jacob was telling his twelve sons about their future, in Genesis 49: 8-9 "Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.
Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son thou art gone up; he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as old lion; who shall rouse him up?
Judah was one of the twelve sons of Jacob, and if we read Jesus natural and human genealogy in Matthew chapter 1, it came from the tribe of Judah. Now we can understand why in the book of Revelation Jesus is called the Lion of the tribe of Judah, because his lineage came from Judah.

This declaration should give give Christ believers reassurance of victory as their leader, their King and Saviour is a Conquering and Victorious King of kings and Lord of lords, this thought should give us Hope and Confidence.

DIOS COMPARADO CON EL LEON

Oseas 5: 14 dice, "Porque yo sere como leon para Efrain, y como cachorro de leon a la casa de Juda. Yo, yo arrebatare, y andare; tomare, y no habra quien liberte"

Isaias 31: 4 dice, "Porque Jehova me dijo a mi de esta manera: Como el leon y el cachorro de leon braman por su presa, y si llega contra ellos guarida de pastores, no temeran por sus voces, ni se acobardaran por el tropel de ellos; asi Jehova de los ejercitos descendera a pelear por el monte de Sion, y por su collado"

Los leones son super fuertes, sus cuerpos compactos, poderosas piernas, y dientes y quijadas para tomar y matar a su presa. Su pelaje es amarillo-oro, sus colores varian de rojiso-cafes a negro.

Asi (como leon) Jehova de los ejercitos descendera a pelear por el monte de Sion, y por su collado. Wow!
Como el leon la defendera, esta es una hermosa promesa de Dios para Sion. Sion representa la ciudad de Dios, la asamblea de los creyentes, la iglesia.

La buena noticia para nosotros es que si nos mantenemos dentro de la ciudad de Dios, su iglesia, la asamblea de los creyentes no tenemos de que, o de quien temer ya que Dios como leon vendra para defendernos, para rescatarnos, para redimirnos de cualquier enemigo que nos quiera destruir. Bendito sea su santo nombre.

GOD COMPARED TO A LION

Hosea 5: 14 says, "For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him"

Isaiah 31: 4 says, "For thus hath the Lord spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them; so shall the Lord of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof"

Lions have a strong, compact bodies, and powerful legs, teeth and jaws for pulling down and killing prey. Their coats are yellow-gold, and adult males have shaggy manes that range in color from blond to reddish-brown to black.

So (as a lion) shall the Lord of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion and for the hill thereof. As a lion He will defend her. Wow!
This is a great promise from God to mount Zion. Mount Zion represents the city of God, it represents the assembly of believers, it represents the church. If we stay within the city of God spiritually speaking we have nothing to fear, because God will rescue us, God will defend us, He will delivered us from the hands of any enemy. Blessed be His name.

Levantaran Las Alas Como Aguilas

Las aguilas son las aves que mas alto vuelan, hasta 10.000 pies y mas, las aguilas no le tienen temor a las tormentas, al contrario, cuando ven la tormenta venir toman ventaja de ella y comienzan a volar alto, y mas alto, hasta que en el proceso se ven cerca de la luz del sol.

Las otras aves y otros animales cuando ven que la tormenta viene les da miedo y corren a esconderse y en busca de refugio.

Los cristianos que esperan y confian en Jehova son como aguilas, no le tienen miedo a las tormentas de la vida, sino que en cada tempestad se elevan alto y mas alto cerca del sol de justica que es Cristo.
El cristiano debe decir como el Salmista "Dios es nuestro amparo y fortaleza, Nuestro pronto auxilio en las tribulaciones.
Por tanto, no temeremos, aunque la tierra sea removida.
Aunque se traspasen los montes al corazon de la mar.
Bramaran, y turbaranse sus aguas,
Temblaran los montes a causa de su bravesa" Salmos 46: 1-3

El Apostol San Pablo dijo, "Hermanos, yo mismo no hago cuenta de haberlo ya alcanzado; pero una cosa hago;
Olvidando ciertamente lo que queda atras, y extendiendome a lo que esta adelante,
Prosigo al blanco, al premio de la soberana vocacion de Dios en Cristo Jesus' Filipenses 3: 13-14

Si amigos, no le tengamos temor a las tormentas de aflicion y sufrimiento, veamoslas como una oportunidad de mirar hacia arriba, confiando en la fortaleza de Dios. "Maranatha"

Mount Up With Wings As Eagles

The eagle is the bird that flights the highest, up to 10.000 feet.
The eagle is not afraid of the storms, in fact he likes the storms because he takes advantage of the storm to flight high. When the eagle sees the storm coming he launches into flight to ascend in a spiral manner, upward, upward, upward until the storm passes, but in the process he finds himself closer to the light of the sun.

Other birds and animals when they see the storm coming they get afraid, run to hide and to find protection.

Christians who wait and trust in the Lord are like eagles, they see the storm coming and they prepare to ascend upward, upward, and upward closer in their experience with the Lord, the sun of righteousness. Every storm the Christian faces makes him/her stronger and stronger ready to defeat a bigger storm.

The Christian should say as the Psalmist, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah" Psalm 46: 1-3

Paul said in Philippians 3: 13-14 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus"

Yes my friends, let us not be afraid of the storms of our life, let us look at the storm as an opportunity to flight higher, closer to the sun of righteousness.
Let us be eagles. "Maranatha"

ESPERAR EN JEHOVA

El texto de esta semana esta en Isaias 40: 28-31 "No has sabido, no has oido que el Dios del siglo es Jehova, el cual creo los terminos de la tierra? No se trabaja, ni se fatiga con cansancio, y su entendimiento no hay quien lo alcance.
El da esfuerzo al cansado, y multiplica las fuerzas al que no tiene ninguna.
Los mancebos se fatigan y cansan, los mozos flaquean y caen.
Mas los que ESPERAN EN JEHOVA tendran nuevas fuerzas; levantaran las alas como aguilas; correran, y no se cansaran; caminaran, y no se fatigaran".

Nuestro animal figura esta semana es el Aguila.

Algunos hechos del aguila en comparacion con los humanos.
= El aguila tiene 340 grados de vision, los humanos 180.
= El aguila tiene 20/5 de vision, los humanos 20/20.
= El aguila tiene dos foveas en cada ojo y 2 millones de conos por milimetro, los humanos solo un fovea en cada ojo y 200.000 conos por milimetro.
= El aguila vive de 25-40 anios, los humanos de 70-100.
= El aguila puede volar a 100 MPH a una altura de 10.000-20.000 pies de altura, los humanos no podemos volar solos.

Con eso y mucho mas los humanos podemos ser bedecidos si tan solo Esperamos (Confiamos) en Jehova.

En conclusion, algunas exortaciones del Sabio Rey Salomon. "Fiate de Jehova de todo tu corazon, Y no estribes en tu prudencia.
Reconocelo en todos tus caminos, Y el enderezara tus veredas.
No seas sabio en tu opinion, Teme a Jehova, y apartate del mal;
Porque sera medicina a tu ombligo, Y tuetano a tus huesos". Proverbios 3: 5-8

WAIT UPON THE LORD

This week's text is from Isaiah 40: 28-31 "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainted not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that WAIT UPON THE LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint".

This week's animal figure is the EAGLE.

Some facts about the eagles compare to humans:

= Eagles have a 20/5 vision, humans 20/20
= Eagles can see 340 degrees field vision, humans 180 degrees.
= Eagles have 2 foveae per eye with 2 million cones per millimeter, humans have one fovea per eye with 200.000 cones per millimeter.
= Eagles longevity is of 35-40 years, humans 70-100.
= Eagles can fly at 100 MPH at an altitude of 10.000-20.000 feet high, humans cannot fly on their own.
This and more is what we humans can be blessed with if we only WAIT (Trust) UPON THE LORD.
In conclusion, some exhortation from the wisdom of King Solomon. "Trust in the lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones". Proverbs 3: 5-8

Jeremias 9: 23-24 dice, "Asi dijo Jehova: No se alabe el sabio en su sabiduria, ni en su valentia se alabe el valiente, ni el rico se alabe en sus riquezas.
Mas alabese en esto el que se hubiere de alabar; En conocerme y entenderme, que yo soy Jehova, que hago misericordia, juicio, y justicia en la tierra; porque estas cosas quiero dice Jehova".

Que diferente seria si tan solo pudieramos entender mas a Dios y conocerle mejor!
Propongamonos todos en nuestros corazones conocer mejor y entender mas a Dios en este 2024.
Que nos podamos acercar mas a El mientras El tambien se acerca a nosotros.

Y que la paz de Dios que sobrepasa todo entendimiento sea con cada uno y con los suyos. "Maranatha"
