Though all odds appear stacked against you, Gideon’s boldness can be yours today. (Judges 7:12-15). Such courage is available to you too. This is because you can know for sure that God will not leave you to face your foes alone. No matter what you face today, God is greater. Trust Him, and He will use you in a mighty, wonderful way to effect victory. “And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the people of the East lay along the valley like locusts in abundance, and their camels were without number, as the sand that is on the seashore in abundance. And his comrade answered, “This is no other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel; God has given into his hand Midian and all the camp.””

If your troubles are large enough to vex and endanger your welfare, they are large enough to touch God’s heart of love. You may believe that your situation is too small to bring before God. However, the pathway of faith is trusting God for every facet and feature of your life. Have confidence that He cares for you even in the smallest issues and you will find how abundant His great love for you really is. (Genesis 12:1)

You are never alone. Life’s trials provide a wonderful opportunity for God to display His power and wisdom in your life. Be courageous and do not fear. The Lord your God is with you, and He will give you strength, wisdom and victory (Joshua 1:9)

Though none of us is exempt from the storms and trials of life, we can live with inner joy and peace. We will never pay the penalty of eternal death for our sins. That process was paid for us at the cross by a loving God who is merciful and long suffering. (Mark 15:39)
