Evangelical Fellowship Church

Evangelical Fellowship Church Envision a church, not just in the neighbourhood but of the neighbourhood: Where grace echoes on every street and not just in our sanctuary.

A church that is a sanctuary caring for the immigrant, the lost, and the broken, and discipling them with Jesus.

Hey everyone
This year I (Jesse) was approached by World Vision to host an annual “Global 6k Walk for Water,” which focuses on raising money to bring clean drinkable water to folks in the Congo.
This struck me as a terrific opportunity to get neighbours together, outside, walking and talking for a good cause.

I would personally love it if you'd join me for a 6k walk through our neighbourhood on May 23rd at 1pm, starting at the Evangelical Fellowship Church and ending at a TBD point in the neighbourhood (aiming for renting the Community League building)

We will provide water and stuff. If you’d like to join there’s a link below and if you aren’t really into walking you can still support others through donating!

Even if you just want to pop by and walk with your neighbours, I'd love that.
Hope to see you there!

In a world where we choose everything we find ourselves chosen and called by God, and Catechism is the way we learn to live as God's people today.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Join us on Sundays at 10:30am as we begin an investigation into the purpose and substance of Catechism.

Some things in this life, you see and you are changed.

For me I can list some- a car driving through a crowd.
Prayerfully holding the hand of an elderly woman who would hold God’s hand before morning.
My Daughter, Delaney, popping her head into the world. My wife’s shadow, dancing behind sanctuary doors.
My life tumbling around in a car whose wheels have left the road.
These things I haven’t just seen with my eyes, but I’ve beheld them with my soul.
And I still hold them. And you, no doubt have been changed by such moments:
A diagnosis.
A phone call.
A decision.
A new horizon.

And the invitation of our Psalm is to encounter the Word of the Lord with such raptured attention.

An ominous dread that rises and gives birth to courageous action, like fleeing a despotic regime.
And the invitation of our Psalm is to encounter the Word of the Lord with such raptured attention.
