Keep your eyes open this Sunday (tomorrow)! Our Deacons have hidden chickens, roosters, and ducks throughout the church. See how many you can spot!

As you search, remember that we’re also preparing for Fill a Barnyard on June 21. Together, we hope to raise $3,415 to provide a family with a barnyard full of animals and the training they need to build a sustainable future.

Join us after the service on May 24 as we gather together for our annual Community BBQ! We’re excited to welcome neighbours, friends, and families for an afternoon of good food and great conversation. ☀️

If you’re able, please consider bringing a salad or side to share. We’d also appreciate a few volunteers willing to help serve or clean up.

Happy Mother’s Day 🌷

Today, we celebrate the incredible women who love, guide, encourage, support, and care for others so faithfully. We are thankful for mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, foster mothers, spiritual mothers, and the many women who reflect God’s love through their kindness and compassion each day.

Your strength, prayers, wisdom, and unwavering love leave a lasting impact on families, friendships, and our church community. Thank you for the many seen and unseen ways you serve and care for those around you.

We also recognize that Mother’s Day can hold many emotions. Today, we pray for peace, comfort, and God’s presence for all women, wherever this day may find them.

It’s a morning to celebrate our GEMS girls (Grades 2 to 6) and all they’ve been learning and experiencing this year. Through GEMS, girls are encouraged to grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover their purpose in God’s story.

He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!

It’s Easter.

A day to remember.
A day to reflect.
A day to celebrate.

But Easter is more than a moment in history.
It’s more than a story we revisit once a year.

It’s a person.
It’s life.
It’s a promise.

When the women came to the tomb, they didn’t understand.
They came expecting death… not resurrection.
Confused, afraid, unsure of what they were seeing.

Until they were reminded:
“Remember what He told you.”

And suddenly, everything changed.

Because Jesus had already spoken it.
He had already promised it.
He had already made a way.

Sometimes we don’t fully understand either.
Sometimes we walk through life unsure, questioning, or waiting.

But Easter calls us back to this:
Remember His words.

Remember that death was never the end.
Remember that hope was never lost.
Remember that Jesus is alive.

And because He is alive…
there is life for us too.

He is risen. ✨

Today we paused, reflected, and remembered.

Good Friday holds a quiet, heavy weight.
It’s the day everything felt lost.
The day hope seemed to disappear.
The day the world went silent.

Good Friday reminds us that even in the darkest moments, when hope feels distant, God is still at work.

And yet… we call it good.
Not because it wasn’t painful,
but because love refused to give up on us.

The cross was not the end of the story.
What looked like the end was never the end.
Love was still moving.
Grace was still unfolding.
A greater story was being written.

As we remember today, we carry both the weight of the sacrifice and the quiet hope of what is still to come.

Wherever you are today, whatever you’re carrying… you’re not alone in it.

Sunday is coming. ✨

Today we celebrate Palm Sunday, the day Jesus entered Jerusalem, welcomed with praise and open hearts. As we begin Holy Week, we are reminded of His humility, His love, and the journey He chose for us.

“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

This week, we walk through the story of our faith, from the sorrow of Good Friday to the joy and hope of Easter Sunday.
