Tuesday (Jan. 13) we host J.P. Cormier and Jake Lauzon.
People still leave J.P.'s shows amazed and wondering what they just saw. Did they see a storyteller? Songwriter? Someone who crosses the lines between different instruments like there are no lines? Arguably one of the best guitar players today? Of all the things he is, foremost, an entertainer.
This winter, J.P. is touring with Jake Lauzon. Jake has followed a similar path to J. P., drawn to folk, roots and bluegrass, and has become an accomplished guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. He has a busy schedule freelancing, recording and teaching. His music has taken him to many North American stages, including performances at the Celtic Colours International Festival, and Nashville’s renowned Station Inn, touring with “Nothin’ Fancy’’ and Dave Gunning and J.P. Cormier.

On Sunday October 5th, join us on the front lawn for a service of blessing for your favourite animal! Bring your dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters or budgies to this special service. The service begins at 10am and is very family friendly. It will be about 45 minutes in length with some special music and a time to have your animal blessed. No church experience required. Come as you are.
