Here’s your YA schedule for this month. As you start a new school year, and settle into new routines, we hope to continue gathering as a community!

Do you know what your Spiritual Gifts are? What are the Spiritual Gifts? Can your gifting change overtime? How can you grow in your giftings and learn to let Hid work through you?

Bring your questions this Sunday and next (August 9th and 16th) as we take time to understand the Spiritual Gifts in the New Covenant. We’ll also take time to discern together what our unique gifts are and how we can use them to build up the Church!

Zamar is one of 7 Hebrew words that we translate as “praise” in the English Bible. While they do mean “to praise God” or “give thanks to Him”, they all have a different emphasis.

“Zamar” refers to praising God with musical instruments or to praise God in song. It’s more than just our voices, there is a physical component to our worship as we play instruments.

Whether or not you consider yourself musical person, take some time to reflect on your worship to God. How can you engage with instruments in your worship, whether on the worship team or in your own personal worship? Or maybe this can help you appreciate musical worship on Sunday mornings a little bit more. And thank you to all the young adults who lead us in worship to God through serving on the worship team!
