We're grateful to have been able to partner with .yeg and .savers for a worship night this past Saturday! It was so neat to worship together in the middle of campus.

WORSHIP NIGHT ON CAMPUS

For YA this Saturday (Nov 1), we'll be on the U of A campus for a worship night. We're so excited to be partnering with .yeg and .savers for this event!

7-9:30pm in the Cascade Room in SUB basement.

Message us for the link to the directions!

If you'd like to walk from the church instead of parking on campus, a group will be leaving from there at 6:15pm.

Join us on Saturday, October 25th, for Part Two of our fall teaching series: When He Speaks: Encounters with Jesus in the Gospel of John.

In Session Two, as we walk through John 4:1–42, we’ll look at: “When He Speaks to the Broken.”

🍂 This Saturday (October 18) for Young Adults, we’re heading out into the McKernan neighbourhood to rake lawns and bag leaves for our neighbours!

📍 Meet at the church parking lot at 2:30 PM
🧹 We’ll start raking by 3:00 in our Small Groups
🍽️ Once we’re done, we’ll head back to the church for supper together

It’s a great chance to serve our community and spend time together — let us know at the link in our bio if you’ll be there so we can plan food!

Also, please note: there will be no 7 PM YA this week — this event is in place of our regular evening gathering.

For the last 2 years, we've organized an event in October where we go around the McKernan community and serve our neighbours by raking leaves!

On Saturday, October 18th, we're doing this again.

We'll post about it again closer to the day, but as it will be at a different time than usual, we wanted to let you get it on your calendars.

We'll meet at 2:30 at the church, and raking from 3-5pm. If you have a rake, please bring it!

If you're planning to be there, please rsvp at the link in our bio so we know how many volunteers we'll have.

We'll also eat supper together at the church afterward.

For Young Adults this Saturday (October 11), we're having a Thanksgiving Potluck. Please note that we will start at 6pm instead of 7.

We’ll take care of the turkey, but if your last name starts with a letter from A to M, please bring a side or salad, and if your last name starts with a letter from N to Z please bring a dessert!

As well, this week is our Thanksgiving Sunday at McKernan, and one of the things that we're doing as a church is collecting Food Bank Donations for the Campus Food Bank. If you'd like to donate, you can bring donations Saturday night as well!
