It's been a fun summer so far.
What a joy to take part in The Diocese of Athabasca family camp (leading both the kid's track and adult track). See you at Synod in a few months!
Our Bible Camps inspired a sense of awe and wonder as children learned what it really means to BUILD a life on the Rock. We have a team traveling home today, and one more BUILD camp scheduled this year.
500 Bible Camp in a Bag kits were also carefully prepared, packed and distributed across NWT & NU. Special thanks to the summer students of Synod of Alberta and the Territories for helping out volunteers with this mammoth task!
We also ran two Healing Groups in the NWT this summer. It is always such a blessing to see how the Lord moves so deeply in our hearts, and how He so gently leads us towards healing and wholeness.
Thank you to Inuvik Anglican Church for hosting Caring for the Wounded Heart this week. It is exciting to see what is taking place there right now.
Further thanks go to Roman Catholic Diocese of Mackenzie-Fort Smith and Diocese of The Arctic who regularly invite us and support our teams as they volunteer and travel to/from various communities.
And of course thank you to all our individual volunteers, donors and congregations who make it possible for On Eagle's Wings to have such an incredible impact across northern Canada.
