Darkness envelopes us for a time - especially in the North. But the return of the sun brings hope, joy, and a great sense of excitement. This Easter Sunday morning, darkness retreats as the Light rises. The Son bringing hope, joy and a great sense of excitement!

Up in Inuvik, excitement is also building for another reason. A month from now our Bible Camp team will be hosting TASTE. Flyers are going out, posters are getting set up, radio announcements will soon play, inviting children and their families to TASTE and See that the Lord is good.

Nearing the end of a week of ministry in Ulukhaktok, NT. Just one or two icebergs left in the bay, but snow in the forecast for tomorrow. It has been good to connect with the community again. Several people mentioned Maury & Dottie, expressing fond memories of the OEW teams that used to come here annually.

This trip has been a bit different. We can see that God is at work in this small community, and seems to be lining things up for more visits over the coming year.

A lot can happen in one week in Yellowknife. We had our largest ever Caring for the Wounded Heart group, followed by facilitator training for 8 people (most of whom live in the North). These are exciting times. Also had fun joining in worship : a Rogation ceremony with Bishop Alex and intern Jackson, and playing keyboard in church this morning. Even managed a quick walk around the infamous Ragged Ass Rd before heading to the airport. See you next time my YK friends, old and new!
