Hi Family, friends, neighbors, as we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together:

Down The Rabbit Trail: Beyond Bethphage — An Eyewitness Account of the King Who Sees, Confronts, and Transforms

Today, we step into more than a story—we step into a journey. A road that feels heavy with purpose, lined with expectation, yet filled with moments that challenge everything we think we understand about faith, fruit, and the heart of God. Walking alongside Jesus toward Jerusalem, we encounter not just events—but revelations.
We begin in Bethphage, a place that quietly exposes a truth within us all: the danger of beginnings that never mature, of potential that never becomes fruit. From there, we move into the tension of the Triumphal Entry—a celebration full of hope and noise, yet contrasted by a King who sees beyond the moment, carrying sorrow where others expect victory.

As the journey unfolds, we witness a Savior who does not merely accept appearances—but examines deeply. In the temple, His silence reveals that God sees everything—systems, motives, and hearts—before He acts. In the fig tree, we are confronted with a sobering reality: that what looks alive from a distance can, in truth, be empty.

And then comes the turning point—where mercy moves into action. The cleansing of the temple reveals a God who refuses to allow distortion to stand, who confronts anything that blocks access to Him, and who passionately restores what was meant to bring life.

Through it all, one message becomes clear: God is not seeking outward performance, but inward transformation. Not leaves, but fruit. Not appearance, but authenticity.

This trek will lead us to wrestle with honest questions:
Are we merely near Him—or truly being changed by Him?
Are we full of activity—or full of life?
When He looks closely… what will He find?

Come, let’s walk this road together—beyond Bethphage, beyond appearances, and into the kind of transformation only the King can bring.

Remember… treasures are always waiting to be discovered Down This Rabbit Trail!

Hi Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together: Down the Rabbit Trail: The Father Provides: Reclaiming the True Gospel of the Kingdom

Today’s journey leads us into something deeper than surface belief—into the very heart of the Father. Along this trail, we’ll uncover a truth many have heard, but few have truly seen: God is not a distant provider responding to performance, but a present Father who gives because it is His nature.
We’ll walk through the quiet tension between what has been taught and what Jesus revealed—exploring how misunderstanding God has led many into striving, fear, lack, and exhaustion. Together, we’ll gently unravel the distortions of provision—the transactional mindset of the prosperity gospel, the emptiness of glorified lack, and the burden of performance-driven living.

But this is not just about what’s been misunderstood—it’s about what is being restored.
As we move further down the trail, we’ll encounter the simplicity and power of the true Kingdom: a life rooted not in earning, but in belonging; not in fear, but in trust; not in striving, but in relationship. We’ll see how Jesus didn’t just teach provision—He revealed the Father, and in doing so, redefined everything.

This trek will bring us face-to-face with a question that shapes our entire life: Do we truly know the Father as He is?

Because when that answer becomes clear…everything changes.
Remember… treasures are always waiting to be discovered Down This Rabbit Trail!

Hi Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together: Down the Rabbit Trail: When Compassion Loses Its Compass

Join me on a short, honest walk into a tension at the heart of Christian living—how the beautiful gift of compassion can, when untethered from truth, lose its way. We’ll trace how God’s mercy is never mere sentiment but a deliberate, restorative force that confronts brokenness and calls people back to life. Along the way we’ll see why kindness that only comforts can quietly enable, why silence out of fear can become abandonment, and why real love sometimes looks like hard speech wrapped in deep care.

We’ll pause at familiar scenes: tender mercy that heals, prophetic warnings that grieve, and Jesus-like encounters that dignify before they call to change. We’ll also notice modern pressures—to avoid the hard word, to confuse affirmation with transformation—and why those pressures matter for families, churches, and friendships. This is not a call to harshness but to courageous compassion: mercy that names the wound so healing can begin.

So lace your boots. We’ll walk with both empathy and wisdom, learning what it means to shepherd well—welcoming people as they are while refusing to leave them there. Come prepared to be encouraged, challenged, and reminded that true grace is free but never cheap.

Remember… treasures are always waiting to be discovered Down This Rabbit Trail!

Hi Family, friends, neighbors,

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let’s take the trek together:

Down The Rabbit Trail: Beyond Religion to Kingdom Living

Today’s journey takes us beyond the surface of faith and into the heart of what Jesus revealed on the mountain—a Kingdom that confronts everything we thought religion was meant to produce. What began as an expectation for clarification of the Law became a complete unveiling of a new reality. Not rules refined, but hearts transformed. Not appearances improved, but spirits exposed.
O
As we trek, we will walk alongside ordinary people—workers, parents, the overlooked—standing shoulder to shoulder with religious leaders confident in their righteousness. And with every word Jesus speaks, something familiar begins to unravel. Spiritual pride is challenged by humility. Performance is confronted by repentance. Control gives way to meekness. Self-righteous certainty is replaced with hunger for God. Judgment is undone by mercy. Division is answered with peacemaking. The craving for approval is exposed by the call to courageous obedience.
This is not a gentle stroll through comforting ideas. It is an honest descent into the contrast between religion and Kingdom living. Along the way, we will see how Jesus exposes the spirits shaping religious life—and then invites us into something far deeper, freer, and more costly.

If you’ve ever sensed that faith must be more than appearances…
If you’ve ever felt the tension between looking right and being made whole…
If you’ve ever longed for a Kingdom that changes the heart, not just the behavior…

Then keep walking. Because once you truly see the Kingdom Jesus revealed, you realize—you can never go back to mere religion.

Remember… treasures are always waiting to be discovered Down This Rabbit Trail!

Hi Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together: Down the Rabbit Trail: Called Beyond the Fractures: A Covenant That Walks Through Weakness.

Today, we follow the journey of a call that walks through weakness, a covenant that moves through fear and failure, and a God who refuses to abandon us—even when we stumble. Along the way, we’ll encounter the ordinary made holy: the scent of rain-soaked earth, the quiet rhythm of a rocking chair, and a conversation that pierces the heart with questions about justice, fear, and God’s faithfulness.

We’ll see Abram, chosen yet flawed, stepping into the unknown with only a promise, learning that divine calling doesn’t erase weakness—it exposes it, redeems it, and reshapes it. We’ll walk through moments of confusion, the weight of fear, and the tension between human failure and God’s unshakable covenant.

By the end, we’ll realize that the call is the same for all of us: God meets us in our fractures, walks beside us in our weakness, and transforms our fear into trust, our missteps into instruction, and our ordinary lives into something miraculously sacred.

So let’s take the trek together—through the mess, the questions, and the grace—and see what God reveals on the other side of the rabbit trail.

Remember… treasures are always waiting to be discovered Down This Rabbit Trail!

Hi Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together: Down the Rabbit Trail: The Lines That Hold the World Together.

Today’s trail draws us into a story about the lines that hold the world together—the unseen boundaries God established not to restrict life, but to preserve it. We will sit by the fire with a father teaching his children, and through that intimate setting, we will journey from the hearth to Eden, from Cain’s field to the Flood, from Babel’s tower to the Cross.

Along the way, we will uncover a central truth Scripture refuses to abandon: God is a God of order, not confusion, and every time His boundaries are honored, life flourishes—but every time they are crossed, disorder spreads. This trek traces how boundary violations begin in the heart, escalate into relationships, shape cultures, fracture creation, and even disturb the cosmos itself. Yet it also reveals something just as powerful: God’s “no” is never abandonment—it is mercy restraining destruction.

We will see that Eden was not a prison but ordered abundance, that the Fall was not a loss of worth but a loss of alignment, and that Cain’s violence, the Flood’s judgment, and Babel’s scattering all share the same root—authority seized rather than received. And just when the weight of that truth settles in, the trail turns toward hope.

Because this story does not end with crossed lines—but with the Son who never crossed one. Jesus enters as the perfectly aligned human, restoring authority through obedience and showing us that boundaries do not suppress life—they restore it.

So today, as we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, we are not chasing curiosities—we are following the thread of order, love, and redemption that still holds the world together.

Remember… treasures are always waiting to be discovered Down This Rabbit Trail!

Hi Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let’s take the trek together:

Down The Rabbit Hill: A Stolen Design — The Seduction of Familiar Light Without Christ

Today’s trek begins in a place that feels warm, sincere, and strangely familiar. We step into conversations about alignment, inner light, awakening, and healing—language that sounds hopeful, even biblical. No one here is mocking God. In fact, many are searching for Him, aching for wholeness, sensing that life must be more than what they see. That ache draws us in.

But as we walk deeper, a tension emerges. What feels like rediscovered wisdom may actually be a borrowed echo—spiritual truths lifted from God’s original design but detached from Christ, obedience, and relationship. The light feels real because it touches something real: the soul’s memory of how it was created to live—whole, aligned, and filled with God’s breath.

This trek will explore why New Age spirituality feels so familiar, why it resonates with genuine longings for healing and peace, and why that familiarity is precisely the danger. We will trace the soul back to God’s original blueprint, uncover how fragmentation entered through the fracture of sin, and expose how counterfeit spiritual systems promise restoration while quietly repeating the lie of Eden: life apart from God.

Most importantly, we will see why Christ is different. Not as another path to enlightenment, but as the only One who restores what was broken—reuniting the soul with its true Source. As we trek down this rabbit trail together, our goal is not fear, but clarity; not condemnation, but discernment; not illusion, but truth that leads to real freedom and lasting wholeness.

Remember… treasures are always waiting to be discovered Down This Rabbit Trail!

Jan 6, 2026

Hi Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

This is our first post of 2026, and we step into it with grateful hearts and open hands. This year is pregnant with potential, rich with possibilities, and alive with God’s promises. Before plans are made or expectations are set, we want to begin where God always intended us to begin—anchored in trust, not fear. With confidence in His faithfulness and hope in His purposes, we move forward together, believing that what He has prepared for us is good, meaningful, and filled with grace.

A blessed and Christ-centered New Year to you!

In this week’s Trek Down the Rabbit Trail — Evicted from Fear: Coming Home to the Presence of God — we’ll name fear exactly for what Scripture shows it to be: not merely an emotion but a spiritual territory that can relocate our hearts away from God. You’ll be invited to see how a voice—an accusing, persuasive narrative—can redraw the borders of your inner life (as it did in Eden), and how agreeing with that voice moves us out of God’s shelter into hiding, shame, and isolation.

We’ll trace the Bible’s spatial language—“Where are you?”; “You are covered”; “There is no fear in love”—to show how love, not willpower, re-houses the soul. You’ll recognize the common signs that fear has become your default address, and you’ll be shown the precise Gospel truth that reverses the eviction: Jesus not only forgives, He restores our place in God’s presence and protection. This is pastoral and practical—designed to help you hear God’s voice more clearly, step back into intimacy, and declare with confidence: That place of fear—I no longer live there.

Join me as we walk this trail together, learn to listen for the right voice, and come home to the presence of God.

Remember… treasures are always waiting to be discovered Down This Rabbit Trail!

Hi Family, Friends, Neighbors,

This our final post for 2025. What a journey? God has been so faithful to us all. Thank you for taking time to be a part of this community. As we close the year let's take the final Trek Down the Rabbit Trail together in anticipation of 2026: Down The Rabbit Trail: Proven by the Fire, Positioned for the Promise

As we walk this last trail of the year, we’ll look back—not through regret or comparison—but with spiritual eyes that spot God’s hand in every season. You'll recognize how the fire purified, how the wilderness taught dependence, and how quiet, hidden seasons formed the character you’ll carry forward.

We’ll remember Joseph in the prison, Israel in the wilderness, David on the battlefield—and hear their single refrain: God was with them. These stories show the pattern God uses: formation before function, heart before assignment. What felt like waiting was God at work; what felt like loss was often pruning for greater fruit.

This post will help you see that your victories were grace, your pain was not wasted, and your testimony now has power to set others free. It will remind you that God refines rather than rejects, that He prepares rather than postpones, and that your scars testify to His faithfulness.

So come ready to celebrate what God proved, to name what He purified, and to step toward 2026 with quiet confidence—proven by the fire, positioned for the promise. Let this be more than reflection; let it be the moment you realize you have been shaped for what’s next.
