Praise God! As we celebrated Father's Day, we were blessed to have 2 baptisms today! The Lord is at work and we are blessed to see His grace and mercy on action.

Acts 2:38: "Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'"

Hi Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together: Down the Rabbit Trail: Back to the Future — Rediscovering the Church That Turned the World Upside Down

"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." (Acts 2:42)

What if the greatest challenge facing the Church today is not opposition from the world—but drift from the very life that once transformed it?

As we journey down this rabbit trail, we step into a conversation that reaches beyond programs, platforms, and appearances and asks a deeper question: Have we moved away from the simplicity, holiness, power, and authentic community that marked the early Church?

Through the voice of an old Rabbi and the wisdom of Scripture, we will explore the difference between true grace and cheap grace, truth and deception, religion and transformation, gathering and genuine fellowship. Together we will wrestle with difficult questions: What happens when repentance disappears? When community becomes optional? When Christianity becomes comfortable but no longer transformative?

This trek is not about returning to tradition for tradition’s sake or longing for a bygone era. It is a call to move forward by returning to the foundations—to rediscover the Church revealed in Acts: devoted to truth, anchored in prayer, formed through discipleship, strengthened by hospitality, and marked by visible love.

Because the world is not waiting for a more entertaining Church—it is longing to see a more authentic one.

So come—let’s trek together. Back to the future. Back to Acts. Back to the pattern heaven blessed from the beginning.

Hi Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together: Down the Rabbit Trail: When God Lets Go: The Perils of an Un-Surrendered Will

Today, we journey into one of the most sobering and soul-searching realities in all of Scripture: what happens when a heart continually resists God for so long that conviction begins to fade. This is not merely a teaching about judgment, Pharaoh, or rebellion—it is a warning about the silent danger of an un-surrendered will.

As we travel down this trail together, we will uncover how spiritual hardness rarely happens all at once. Like frost slowly numbing exposed skin, the heart can gradually lose its sensitivity to God through repeated resistance, hidden pride, self-rule, and ignored conviction. We will explore the terrifying truth that sometimes God’s most severe judgment is not immediate destruction, but allowing a person to walk fully in the direction they continually insist on choosing apart from Him.

Through the rise and fall of Pharaoh, the warnings of Romans 1, the tragedy of a seared conscience, and the heartbreaking words, “Let him alone,” we will see how unchecked self-will slowly leads to spiritual blindness, bo***ge, and destruction. Yet woven through every plague, every warning, and every confrontation, we will also discover something astonishing: the relentless mercy of God.

This trek will reveal that conviction is not condemnation—it is mercy. Correction is not rejection—it is evidence that God is still pursuing the heart. As long as the soul can still tremble, heaven is still calling.

We will walk through the halls of Egypt beneath darkened skies and falling hail mingled with fire. We will stand beside Pharaoh as pride hardens into ruin. We will feel the weight of rebellion, the danger of spiritual numbness, and the devastating consequences of self-rule. But we will also stand at another road—the road where the prodigal son turns homeward, where surrender opens the door to restoration, and where the Father still waits for the faintest cry of repentance.

Because at the center of this entire journey lies one great question:

Who sits on the throne of the heart?

Self-will or surrender.
Pride or yielding.
Resistance or repentance.

One path leads to increasing hardness.
The other leads to life.

So today, as we trek down the rabbit trail together, may we not merely examine Pharaoh’s heart—but our own. Because perhaps the greatest mercy God can give a person is the continued ability to still feel His voice calling them deeper.

Hi Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together: Down The Rabbit Trail: Evidence of a Whole Soul: Who Can Be Trusted?

Today’s trail leads us beyond the visible walls of a royal palace and into the hidden courtroom of the human soul—where fear, ambition, integrity, surrender, truth, and spiritual authority are all brought under divine examination. In this journey through 2 Kings 8, we step into the tense atmosphere surrounding a dying king, a servant carrying concealed motives, and a prophet who cannot be manipulated by pressure, power, or fear.

As we walk this trail together, we will uncover a piercing question that echoes through every generation: Who can truly be trusted with spiritual weight and authority?

Through the life of Elisha, we will explore the evidence of a whole soul—a soul anchored so deeply in God that it cannot be bribed by influence, silenced by intimidation, distorted by fear, or corrupted by hidden ambition. We will discover why heaven values inward wholeness over outward charisma, private surrender over public performance, and spiritual integrity over giftedness alone.

This trail will lead us through divine cross-examination:
• Can truth still be spoken when pressure fills the room?
• Can compassion remain alive while confronting evil?
• Can someone carry authority without pride, and discernment without cruelty?
• What happens when a soul becomes fully surrendered to God?

Along the way, we will see how brokenness distorts perception, how insecurity weakens courage, and why God refuses to place lasting weight on fractured foundations. But we will also discover the hope of transformation—that through Christ, the soul can become steady, fearless, discerning, compassionate, and whole.

Ultimately, this trek is not merely about Elisha, Ben-Hadad, or Hazael. It is about us. It is about the condition of our own inner world when pressure, fear, opportunity, influence, and hidden motives all collide. Because the greatest battles are often not fought in public arenas, but within the unseen chambers of the soul.

So come walk the trail. The evidence is about to be presented. The soul is about to be cross-examined. And somewhere along this journey, we may discover whether we ourselves have become the kind of people heaven can trust.

As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together: Down the Rabbit Trail: Make the Church Needed Again

There’s a quiet question echoing through our homes, our communities, and even our own hearts: Does the Church still matter? Not because people are resisting God—but because they are searching for something real, something that actually touches life where it hurts, where it breaks, and where it hopes again.

As we journey down this trail, we’ll uncover a truth both sobering and awakening: the world does not reject what is useful—it simply overlooks what feels absent, distant, or disconnected. And that leads us to a deeper question—not about Christ’s relevance, which has never diminished—but about whether His Church has truly revealed Him in a way that can be seen, felt, and experienced.

This trek will bring us face-to-face with the kind of Kingdom Jesus proclaimed and demonstrated—not abstract, not distant, but active, present, and transformative. A Kingdom that feeds the hungry, restores dignity, confronts injustice, heals the broken, and reorders lives with truth and grace. A Kingdom that was never meant to remain an idea, but to become visible through a people.We’ll explore how the Church was always designed to be more than a gathering—it is a living body, a dwelling place of God’s presence, and a vessel through which heaven meets earth. We’ll wrestle with what it means for faith to move beyond words into action, for love to become tangible, and for truth to stabilize lives in a world full of shifting narratives.

Along the way, we’ll confront an unavoidable reality: usefulness is the bridge between presence and impact. When the Church embodies Christ—serving, restoring, speaking truth, and pursuing justice—it doesn’t have to argue for relevance. It becomes essential.

This journey will challenge us to see beyond performance and into alignment, beyond activity and into transformation. It will call us to step into culture without being shaped by it—to intercept brokenness with the redemptive, living reality of Christ.

And ultimately, it will lead us to a defining question—one that shifts everything: Not “How do we make the Church grow?” But “How do we so embody Christ that our presence becomes undeniable—indispensable—necessary?”
So as we take this trek together, prepare to look deeper, to be stretched, and to rediscover what happens when the Church becomes more than something people attend… and becomes something the world cannot live without.

Down The Rabbit Trail: Beyond Bethphage — An Eyewitness Account of the King Who Sees, Confronts, and Transforms

Today, we step into more than a story—we step into a journey. A road that feels heavy with purpose, lined with expectation, yet filled with moments that challenge everything we think we understand about faith, fruit, and the heart of God. Walking alongside Jesus toward Jerusalem, we encounter not just events—but revelations.
We begin in Bethphage, a place that quietly exposes a truth within us all: the danger of beginnings that never mature, of potential that never becomes fruit. From there, we move into the tension of the Triumphal Entry—a celebration full of hope and noise, yet contrasted by a King who sees beyond the moment, carrying sorrow where others expect victory.

As the journey unfolds, we witness a Savior who does not merely accept appearances—but examines deeply. In the temple, His silence reveals that God sees everything—systems, motives, and hearts—before He acts. In the fig tree, we are confronted with a sobering reality: that what looks alive from a distance can, in truth, be empty.

Today’s journey leads us into something deeper than surface belief—into the very heart of the Father. Along this trail, we’ll uncover a truth many have heard, but few have truly seen: God is not a distant provider responding to performance, but a present Father who gives because it is His nature.
We’ll walk through the quiet tension between what has been taught and what Jesus revealed—exploring how misunderstanding God has led many into striving, fear, lack, and exhaustion. Together, we’ll gently unravel the distortions of provision—the transactional mindset of the prosperity gospel, the emptiness of glorified lack, and the burden of performance-driven living.

But this is not just about what’s been misunderstood—it’s about what is being restored.
As we move further down the trail, we’ll encounter the simplicity and power of the true Kingdom: a life rooted not in earning, but in belonging; not in fear, but in trust; not in striving, but in relationship. As we Trek Down the Rabbit Trail, what will we discover? Let's take the trek together: Down the Rabbit Trail: When Compassion Loses Its Compass

Join me on a short, honest walk into a tension at the heart of Christian living—how the beautiful gift of compassion can, when untethered from truth, lose its way. We’ll trace how God’s mercy is never mere sentiment but a deliberate, restorative force that confronts brokenness and calls people back to life. Along the way we’ll see why kindness that only comforts can quietly enable, why silence out of fear can become abandonment, and why real love sometimes looks like hard speech wrapped in deep care.

We’ll pause at familiar scenes: tender mercy that heals, prophetic warnings that grieve, and Jesus-like encounters that dignify before they call to change. We’ll also notice modern pressures—to avoid the hard word, to confuse affirmation with transformation—and why those pressures matter for families, churches, and friendships. This is not a call to harshness but to courageous compassion: mercy that names the wound so healing can begin.

So lace your boots. We’ll walk with both empathy and wisdom, learning what it means to shepherd well—welcoming people as they are while refusing to leave them there. Come prepared to be encouraged, challenged, and reminded that true grace is free but never cheap.
