Our Edmonton chapter of Christian Rods & Customs is pleased to have Gerry do a video presentation entitled "The Western National Parks Tour” Gerry and daughter Brianna took his 1956 Chevy wagon on a wide-ranging 3 week road trip. Starting in Edmonton in June, they travelled though Montana and Idaho, to start their tour in Salt Lake City, Utah. They stopped for a day in Park City, Utah then went to Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Four Corners, where the states of Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado meet, and Monument Valley, Arizona. Then it was on to the Lake Powell, and the Slot Canyons around Page, Arizona. The two continued on to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, before heading to Wyoming to visit Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Arriving back in Canada, they camped in Banff for a couple days before ending the tour in Jasper on Canada Day. The Sinklers travelled just over 5,000 miles in 3 weeks and once home Gerry put the car away for a week for well-deserved rest.
