We hold our church service from 11am-12pm on Sabbaths and often fellowship with lunch after our church service. We are an active church that meets throughout the week at various members homes and Edmonton locations. We believe that it is important to share Jesus with our community. It is our goal to stay close to Jesus and stay deep in His word. We also believe that it is important to help those i

n their times of need through prayer and helping hands. All are welcome to our church which is not a building but a family of believers.

Why is Good Friday “good”?

“…He said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (John 19:30)

The disciples watched as Jesus cried out, “it is finished.” But what was finished wasn’t Jesus’ life—it was everything separating us from God’s love.

“God with us” became “God for us” by giving up His life to rescue us.

Jesus suffered so that our suffering world could know God personally … that’s what makes Good Friday “good”. (blog.youversion.com)

It’s easy to feel bombarded with information about what it means to love and to be loved. We have to remind ourselves that the template for true love isn’t found in cultural definitions, it was given to us by a God who represents the concept itself.
💕
God’s love is different from any other kind of love. In fact, the Bible says that GOD IS LOVE. God’s love is unconditional, extravagant, and everlasting. And, it’s for everyone.
💕
It can be challenging to love others (and ourselves) if we don’t love God first.
💕
Seeking God consistently is one of the best ways to learn about His perfect love, and to show Him devotion and honor in turn.
💕
When you see yourself the way God sees you, you can love others the way God loves you. God intended healthy relationships to be compassionate, sacrificial, and forgiving.
💕
God wants us to love one another the way He loves us.
💕
3 ways to love others:
*Pray for the people in your life.
*Serve someone with your time, talent, or finances.
*Be quick to listen, and to forgive.

REOPENING SERVICE TOMORROW @ 11 AM.

You are invited to join us from 11 AM - 12 PM at our new location as we worship in song and study God’s Word.

New Location: 6315 199 Street (small sanctuary of Saints Church, enter through the front doors).

Note: In accordance with current provincial health restrictions, all who attend this Sabbath will be asked to wear a mask and 2 meters physical distancing between households will be observed, or to close contacts for those living alone.
