Jesus' words in John 15 remind us that fruitfulness doesn't come from striving harder but from staying connected to Him. Branches don't produce fruit by effort alone; they produce fruit because they're connected to the vine. In a world that celebrates self-sufficiency, Jesus invites us to dependence. The question isn't, "How much can I accomplish today?" but rather, "How closely am I walking with Jesus today?

Stay connected. Remain in Him. Everything you need flows from the Vine.

"God cannot give us happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing."

We spend so much of our lives chasing peace in success, happiness in comfort, and fulfillment in things that were never designed to satisfy our souls. Yet the peace we long for isn't found in a circumstance, it's found in a person.

True joy, lasting peace, and deep contentment are found in the presence of God. The closer we draw to Him, the more we discover that what our hearts have been searching for has been there all along.

Last April, as a church, we journeyed through the Sabbath Practice together. Since then, we’ve explored other practices and rhythms of life with Jesus, but we’d love to hear from you:

The Scripture Practice may be over, but the invitation isn’t.

We don’t read the Bible just to complete a series or check a box. We read Scripture because through it, Jesus shapes us, transforms us, and draws us deeper into life with Him.

Transformation rarely happens overnight. It happens in the everyday moments like when you open your Bible when you’re tired, reflecting on a passage during your lunch break, praying through a Psalm before bed, returning again and again to the words of Jesus.

Keep going.
Keep showing up.
Keep practicing.

Because following Jesus isn’t a one-time event. It’s a daily journey of being formed into His likeness.

Faith isn’t always having all the answers. Sometimes it’s simply choosing to trust God one step at a time, even when the path ahead feels unclear.

What we can see may change, but God’s character never does. Keep walking. Keep trusting. He is faithful through every season.
