The Annual Pet Service celebrated how pets transform our lives with love and slobbery companionship, inspiring laughter and playtime among all the devoted pet parents who joined in, both online and in person, to share in the joy with their furry/ finned/ feathered family.

June marks National Indigenous History Month in Canada, a time to honour the rich history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. Their deep, enduring relationship with the land shapes every aspect of culture, health, and community well being. Animals are understood as close relations—beings who deserve respect, kindness, and gratitude throughout their entire lives. Reconciliation is inseparable from respect for all living beings and for the land we share, reminding us that healing must move forward in partnership with the natural world.
June is also Pride Month, and at UCE we have a full, joy filled month ahead. Next week brings our annual Flower Communion, a beloved tradition where everyone is invited to bring a flower to share. On June 21, we’ll gather for our Fabulous Pride service, and on the final Sunday, June 28, of the month we’ll wrap up the regular church year with a picnic in the park just across the street.
You are welcome to join us in our Sanctuary (10804-119 Street) or via online (please go to uce.ca for links).
