A small sample of the big performance the Trincan Steel Orchestra gave us at our Sunday Serenade concert yesterday October 20. The joint was hopping. Nice to see lots of young people playing the colourful Caribbean culture too! They played songs from several genres and especially sweet was their rendition of What a Wonderful World. Our contemporary music concerts continue on November 17 with Harmonica Edmonton, an amazing ensemble of string and wind instruments. This group has performed internationally. Don’t miss it. 9915-148 street. 2:00. Admission by donation, $10 suggested please. Accessible. Free parking.

How beautiful and peaceful. G Mark Taylor performing last night Friday September 20 at contemporary music venue St. Andrew's United Church. Mark shares his traditional music at schools and community events all over town. Such a great addition to the performance by Ryu Yokoo:Hibiki Guitar Stylings. A great evening of wonderful and most enjoyable entertainment. St. Andrew’s is a live music venue in Edmonton where we often hold our regular shows on the lawn in summer in our beautiful mature Crestwood neighbourhood, under the beautiful blue prairie skies and spruce trees. But we move indoors to enjoy amazing acoustics and great seating too. You’ll hear blues, jazz, country, barbershop choruses, fiddlers, and more through our series of live concerts. Follow and like our page for upcoming concerts throughout the winter.

The ever popular song of peace, Imagine, performed by elite guitarist Ryu Yokoo:Hibiki Guitar Stylings at live contemporary music venue St. Andrew's United Church last night Friday September 20. We also heard Sentimental Journey, Country Roads and other favourites that we all knew. And what a great performance by G Mark Taylor and his awesome North American flute! This concludes our Friday night summer concerts but watch this space for the winter series starting in October on select Sunday afternoons.
