This is the beginning of a series called "The kingdom" brought to you by First Nations Alliance Church and Pastor Vernon Grant. (and he apologizes, as it is not Covid, just his allergies haha)
Amidst this chaos and fear around the world, humanity needs to remember the real truth- the real promise- the real future that awaits.
John 14:3 says: "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you myself, that where I am you may be also." See how it is not a guarantee- because he also commands us to "(But) seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." in Matthew 6:33. He loves us so much, He has given us access to so much power and wisdom- if we stop letting the world get so loud, and instead start looking to God, the world becomes less troublesome, and the kingdom becomes a lot more clear and something to aspire.
Our Father has given us so much, but most of all, His sacrifice: His son, so let's take that next step in faith together, keep Jesus in your heart, and the kingdom in your sights! Because it truly is something to look forward to!
We as a church need to teach about the kindom and what more we have to look forward to! Please share, His love and His promises!
