Earlier today, surrounded by his brothers and family, Brother Aldin Francis Mataac Canobas made his solemn profession of vows as a Franciscan friar with the Order of Friars Minor in the Holy Spirit Province Saint-Esprit of Canada.

May God be with Brother Aldin and may God bless our nation with many religious vocations!

Our community of Canadian friars - Holy Spirit Province Saint-Esprit - celebrated the Renewal of Vows on August 25.

Brothers Brandon, Vincent and Francis renewed their vows for another year, as "simply professed" brothers.

After making their first vows, a friar renews every year until making Solemn Vows.

These men said yes to the gospel. Will you?
