Ash Wednesday

What truly resonates with me is Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. This passage is God’s calling for us to clean out our junk. Whether is is emotional, physical, or friendships that’s are not supporting the way you want your life to reflect upon. God will guide your during this Lenten season to find healing and support as you walk with Jesus on his journey to the Cross. I encourage you to take time to reflect today even if you don’t feel anything calling right now. Reflect on your relationships, your goals and how your life is moving forward. Remember the impact of your actions, your words your deeds will always trickle down into other people’s live.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

Dear Friends,

Today, I want to share with you a beautiful experience my family and I had when we went apple picking, with our one-year-old in tow. It was not just a day of harvesting delicious apples; it was a day filled with love, gratitude, and lessons about life's journey.

As we strolled through the orchard, I couldn't help but think about the diversity of families around us. There were young newlyweds, excitedly starting their journey together, holding hands and dreaming of their future. It reminded me of the excitement and anticipation of new beginnings. 🌟

But there were also moments that touched my heart deeply. Our one-year-old was taking in the world with wide eyes, giggles, and a heart full of wonder. It was a poignant reminder of the joy and innocence of childhood. 👶💕

This day of apple picking reinforced a powerful message for me: life is a beautiful tapestry of experiences, and each one carries its own blessings and challenges. 🌻

Just as we plucked apples from the trees, we, too, must learn to embrace the different seasons of life. Sometimes, we are given the sweetest and juiciest blessings that we can savor with joy, like our one-year-old discovering the world with wonder. Other times, we may find ourselves in the midst of an orchard filled with barren trees, representing the struggles faced by those trying to conceive. 🙏

In the Bible, Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." It's a powerful reminder that our lives are guided by divine timing, even when we cannot see the bigger picture.

Let us remember to support and uplift those who are on different paths, whether they are newlyweds dreaming of the future, those struggling on the journey to parenthood, or the little ones discovering the world with wide eyes. Our shared experiences, joys, and challenges bind us together, creating a community of love and compassion.

Today, in the orchard, I was reminded that life's blessings are all around us, waiting to be picked and cherished. 🍏 Let us be grateful for each season, for they all contribute to the beautiful story of our lives.
