Men’s Breakfast — This Saturday at DWC!
Saturday, October 17 • 9:00 AM

Men, you’re invited to a relaxed and meaningful morning together this Saturday at DWC. We’ll be gathering for a Men’s Breakfast, and—weather permitting—enjoying a campfire outside and sharing our meal around the fire.

The team will be taking care of the menu and cooking, so just come ready for good food, good conversation, and good fellowship.

After breakfast, we’ll spend some time getting to know one another, and sharing ideas about events and opportunities for Men’s Ministry in the year ahead.

It’s a great chance to connect, encourage one another, and build community.

Thanksgiving Sunday at Dundalk Wesleyan Church

What a wonderful morning of worship and gratitude!
This week’s message, “Gratitude That Reorients the Soul” from Psalm 100:1–5, reminds us that thanksgiving begins not with circumstance, but with worship — turning our hearts toward who God is before we even look at what He’s done.

Kids’ Corner — The Thankful Tree

During our Thanksgiving Sunday service, the children helped create a Thankful Tree — a vase of branches that started bare but soon filled with colourful maple leaves, each one naming something they’re thankful for.

It was a joyful reminder of James 1:17:

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights.”

As the tree filled up, so did our hearts — with gratitude for God’s goodness and the blessings He gives every day.

As we head into Thanksgiving weekend, we’re turning to Psalm 100:1–5 and exploring how gratitude reorients the soul.

Life doesn’t always feel simple or light, but Psalm 100 invites us to enter God’s presence not with fear or pressure — but with thanksgiving. Gratitude lifts our eyes, steadies our hearts, and reminds us who we belong to. When we practice thanksgiving, even in small ways, we begin to see God’s quiet mercies all around us.

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate God’s goodness together and learn how intentional gratitude can reshape our week, our worship, and our walk with Christ.

Impactus Men’s Conference — Saturday, October 24 in Brampton!

Our very own Andy Taylor is organizing a group of men to attend the Impactus Men’s Conference at Bramalea Baptist Church — a full day designed to inspire, challenge, and strengthen your walk with Christ.

This year’s theme is MOVE — a call to stop drifting and step forward with purpose, conviction, and faith. It’s a powerful opportunity to grow spiritually, connect with other men, and be encouraged to live boldly for Jesus.

Operation Christmas Child Launch – This Sunday!

We’re excited to begin our annual Operation Christmas Child ministry! Each year, we have the joy of filling shoeboxes with gifts that travel across the world to bless children in need — sharing the love of Jesus in a tangible way.

Join us this Sunday here at DWC to learn more about how you can take part. Pick up one (or more) empty shoeboxes, fill them with simple gifts, and return them to the church by Sunday, November 15th.

Let’s make this Christmas season shine with generosity and hope!
