Last night, our parish had a heartfelt memorial service for Miss Ndidi Magerate Okamgba (1965-2026), cherished older sister of Father Livinus. ✝️ "Well done, good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:21

This Father’s Day, Father Livinus presented gifts to the fathers of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Dundalk, Shelburne, and Proton. We thank all fathers, grandfathers, and father figures for their love, guidance, and faith-filled example within their families and our parish community. May God bless you today and always! 🙏💙

Throughout the month of May, we crowned our Blessed Mother each Sunday at St. Patrick’s. Today marked our final May Crowning, a beautiful way to conclude this special month dedicated to Mary.

Our first ever Parish Garage Sale is only a week away! This exciting fundraiser will run from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, June 6th at the Shelburne Curling Club! Parishioners are asked to drop off sale items between 9:30 and 10:00am. Please return at 2pm to reclaim unsold items if you wish to keep them. Otherwise, unsold items will be donated to local charitable thrift shops. All proceeds will be split between our parish and the Shepherd’s Cupboard Food Bank. Spread the word! Feel free to distribute the attached flyer! Thank you! 😊🙏

Today at St. Patrick’s Proton, we celebrated the Pentecost Mass with the church beautifully decorated for the occasion. During the liturgy, three young girls received their First Holy Communion.

The Prayer of the Faithful was shared by five parishioners each with prayers in their native languages, reflecting the spirit of Pentecost and the speaking in tongues.

We also remembered parishioner Irene Stillinger. Her ashes were laid to rest following the Mass.
