As we gear up for summer, we are taking inventory of everything we have and making lists of what we need. One major need for this summer is a Gator.

Unfortunately one of our Gators had its last summer and is no longer usable. It takes prioritizing and planning to make our two Gators work each summer, and we simply cannot fulfil our needs with just one Gator.

You might be wondering how we use this equipment. There are three main uses for our Gators:

MAINTENANCE - Our Maintenance team needs to bring tools, equipment, and other supplies around our site . For anything from bringing a w**d whacker to our North Shore property to moving gravel around our site, the Gator has become a necessity for our team to get their tasks done in an efficient way without breaking their backs.
PAINTBALL - Our paintball camps happen on our North Shore property, and while we bus the campers back and forth, our amazing Paintball Staff are hard at work preparing the equipment, filling CO2, washing overalls, and keeping the field maintained. Our Gator is optimal for them to get to and from the Paintball field as needed, as well as lugging equipment back and forth for cleaning and repairs.
CAMP PROGRAM - Our activity and program staff rely heavily on our Gator throughout the day to support summer camp program. They use the Gator to set up games, deliver snack to campfires, pull the King Swing for the younger campers, and refill fuel in our boats each morning.

All these needs happen at the same time, and one vehicle simply can’t be in every place at once. We are looking for a new or lightly used Gator to help us fulfil our ministry this summer. *A lot of people who want Jesus to return are not ready for Jesus to return. It is good to want Jesus to return but we need to be walking with God no matter what.

"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
