Yesterday, Pastor Pete challenged us to be a light in the darkness—to boldly share the Gospel with our friends, neighbours, and co-workers. That takes courage, but we can’t forget that the day of accountability is coming.

Jesus reminds us that “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” The opportunity is right in front of us. Who is God placing in your life that needs to hear about His love and truth?

Let’s be willing to step out in courage, shine our light, and be faithful workers in the harvest.

The term "Comforter" comes from the Greek word parakletos, which means "one who is called alongside to help" or "advocate".
No matter how helpless and frustrated we feel, we can be encouraged to know that the Holy Spirit lifts us before the throne of grace and comes to us to guide us into all truth.

Are you rushing through life, always leaning forward into tomorrow and trying to get one more thing done?

What if resting in God is actually one of the most productive things you can do today?
When we slow down, we make space to pray, quiet our thoughts, and remember who we are — God’s beloved and chosen people.
You weren’t created just to check things off a to-do list. You were created to know God, walk with Him, and enjoy His presence.
There’s no pot of gold waiting at the end of your to-do list.
You already have the treasure: His presence.

Take a breath. Slow down. Be still.
God is here.
