The thorn in your side-
what is it?
grief that lingers,
empty pockets,
a body that aches,
a job lost or never found,
habits that hold tight,
rooms that feel heavy with harm.

Still -
grace whispers:
My power works best in weakness.

So you kneel in the breaking,
not strong, not steady,
but open.
Because somehow
in the thin places,
in the worn-down prayers,
in the nights that won't end-
you are being held.

The thorn remains,
not to crush you,
but to keep your heart near,
to quiet pride,
to shape what comes next.

Would you reach the same
without the weight?
Would you listen as closely without the ache?

There is purpose here,
even if hidden.
You are not abandoned
in your weakness-
