Dorchester Community Church Dorchester Community Church is a neighbourhood of believers branching out to make disciples through the life-changing love and power of Jesus Christ.

We are a "come as you are" church that serves the Dorchester and surrounding area. Here at DCC, we encourage everyone to continually develop their relationship with God as they grow within their community and on their spiritual path. Here at DCC, you will find a community of believers that are all in different places along their spiritual journeys. We encourage everyone to develop a personal relat

ionship with God through love and acceptance. We also, as part of our personal growth, try to foster positive change in our community by providing services such as support for the local food bank, and by offering help to other vital community projects.

GriefShare, a 13 week grief recovery support group begins this Tuesday, Sept. 8 6-7:30. For more information you can go to GriefShare.org You can register by locating our group in Dorchester. The only cost is $30 which covers the cost of the workbook and it's payable to the church. If you have questions you can contact Rev. Jeff Strokan at the church.

GriefShare is a grief recovery support program 13 weeks in duration. We're offering this Tuesdays 6-7:30 beginning Tuesday, September 8. Some topics that are covered are "Your grief journey"
"Sadness & Loneliness" "Anger" "Regrets" "Grief & Your Relationships" "Questions for God" " "Hope & Resilience"
How will GriefShare help me? You'll hear... insights from grief recovery experts, meet others who understand what you're going through, receive comfort and support, learn practical tips for navigating your grief, discover 6 signs of healing.
Each session has a video seminar, a group discussion and personal workbook.
The only cost is $30 to cover the cost of the workbook. It's payable at the church.
