Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! We celebrate Easter because of its importance to us. So today we look back at that first Easter. It's easy to focus on the redemptive act of Jesus on the cross, but it's also important to remember it happened within a political reality, and we can learn from that too.

We had a great turnout at the Easter Dinner. Thanks to everyone who came out, and a special thanks to the people who helped with the dishes!

We're talking about doing another one in a couple months instead of waiting for Thanksgiving, maybe with a BBQ.

The roads are a mess, so we're moving our Easter service to tomorrow at 11am, followed by the Easter Dinner potluck in the hall. Come to one, or the other, or both. The potluck is for everyone, not just United Church folk.
