✨ A Night of Prayer, Fellowship, and Creativity at St. George’s ✨

Tonight members of our congregation gathered for a wonderful evening of fellowship as we made our own Anglican Rosaries together. It was a joyful time of conversation, creativity, and prayer. At the end of the evening, Rev. Lisa blessed the rosaries, dedicating them for use in prayer and reflection.

The Anglican Rosary (or Anglican prayer beads) is a devotional tool used to guide prayer and meditation. It has 33 beads, representing the years of Jesus’ life, arranged in a pattern that helps lead the person praying through repeated prayers, scripture, or quiet reflection.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful night together. 🙏

❄️ Pancake Supper Cancelled Due to Weather ❄️

Out of an abundance of caution and care for everyone’s safety, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s Pancake Supper at St. George’s due to the weather.

We know this is disappointing — especially when pancakes are involved! 🥞 — but your safety is most important to us.

Please join us tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM for our Ash Wednesday Service as we begin the season of Lent together in prayer and reflection.

Stay safe and warm, and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow. 🙏

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent, a time of prayer, reflection, and returning our hearts to God.

Join us for a quiet, reverent evening service that includes the Imposition of Ashes, scripture, prayer, and silence, inviting us to pause and prepare for the journey toward Easter.

This service offers a sacred space to acknowledge our humanity, seek God’s mercy, and renew our commitment to walk in faith and hope.

Join us on Wednesday, February 18 at 7:00 pm.

All are welcome, whether this is your first Ash Wednesday or a long-held tradition. Come as you are, and begin Lent together in prayer.

Last night we gathered for our third Heart Circle, and it was a meaningful evening together. Mark guided us through a felt-needling exercise — a creative and reflective experience that everyone really enjoyed.

Heart Circle meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 7 PM, and everyone is welcome to join us. If you’d like to learn more about what we do, you can read the full story in the article below.

Photos are shared with permission from those pictured. Heart Circle is committed to respecting the privacy and confidentiality of all participants.

Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, at St. George’s, members of our parish gather for Heart Circle: a space to reflect on grief, vulnerability, and the shaping influence of our lived experience. It is a simple gathering, grounded in prayerful conversation and mutual care. Last week,...
