Join us today at 1:00 PM for our Midday Prayer Service.

A quiet, spoken service drawn from the Book of Common Prayer, following the order of Morning Prayer. No music, no rush. Just thirty still minutes set aside in the middle of the week to pray, listen, and rest in the words that have shaped Anglican worship for generations.

We hold this service every Wednesday. Whether prayer is a daily habit, something you have been meaning to return to, or something you have never tried before, you are welcome here.

No experience needed. Come as you are.

A change to our midweek rhythm this Wednesday. Instead of our usual midday prayer service, we will be walking the labyrinth at Providence Renewal Centre, and you are warmly invited to join us.
We leave the church at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, July 8, and will carpool together. If it works better, you can meet us at the labyrinth.

Happy Canada Day

Canada turns 159 today. It's a good day to give thanks, even when the world feels uncertain and a little unsettled.

A lot of people are carrying quiet anxiety right now. Things feel less stable than they used to. As Christians, we don't pretend that away, but we don't have to be swept up in it either. We're called to be people of hope, and to pray for the world we live in.

So today, alongside the barbecues and fireworks, we're praying for our nation. For our leaders, our neighbours, and for the kind of country we want to be.

A collect for our nation (Book of Alternative Services):

Almighty God, whose wisdom and whose love are over all, accept the prayers we offer for our nation. Give integrity to its citizens and wisdom to those in authority, that harmony and justice may be secured in obedience to your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
