We love celebrating special milestones to celebrate God's blessings, which is why we choose to celebrate every year and party together as a church family.

On Sunday, October 25th, we will be holding in our monthly communion lunch, only this month, it will be a birthday party! We will put up decorations, sing Happy Birthday, and share a fabulous meal together.

This is a time to recount the amazing things God has done in and through this church over the years. It is a time to celebrate and laugh together. It is also a time to meet new people and welcome them into our church family and community.

We hope to see you this Sunday after the service at our Birthday Party Communion Lunch!

We warmly invite you to United Worship on Saturday, November 7th, at 5PM in the Chapel, hosted by our Korean Ministry!

This special worship service will bring us together to praise God in both Korean and English. In Revelation 7:9, we are given a beautiful vision of people from every nation, tribe, people, and language worshiping God together. United Worship is an opportunity for us to experience a glimpse of that heavenly worship right here in our church.

1 Thessalonians 1:1-7 // As we begin this new series, we examine the historical-rhetorical context that helps us to read this ancient letter from the Apostle Paul to the Thessalonians. We know by the opening verses that this church endured much affliction with the joy of the Holy Spirit and steadfastness of hope. In other words, they faced real suffering, and they were still able to continue in their faith and even faced suffering with joy and hope BECAUSE of their faith in Jesus. Suffering is a common experience that we share in our modern context, making this series highly relatable for us. As we face our own suffering and struggles, what can we learn from the exemplary church in Thessalonica?

Luke 17:11-19 // Thanksgiving is obviously a special time of year where we, as followers of Jesus, are encouraged to be more attentive to the goodness of God in all that he provides, and more disciplined in our hearts to be thankful for it. In our text this Sunday, the gospel writer shares a story of Jesus healing an unlikely group of people all at the same time. What is unique in this encounter is what happens after the healing. Luke highlights one specific person from this group, who turns their thankfulness into worship, and their gratitude into glory.

Our Pickleball Ministry is excited to kick off their regular season on Wednesday, October 14th! Sessions will run Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so there are lots of opportunities to get active, enjoy the game, and develop friendships with people from our church and the wider community.

Moments for Ladies will be kicking off their season TONIGHT (October 7th) at 7PM in the Fellowship Hall. Ladies of all ages are welcome to join us each month as we enjoy fellowship, fun, and food while exploring different topics and themes. This year, each event will focus on a different characteristic or name of God and we will hear a word of encouragement from various ladies sharing from their hearts. From crafts and hands-on activities to games, demonstrations, music, and door prizes, there is something for everyone! Our kitchen team always prepares delicious themed treats to enjoy as well.

We are looking forward to another amazing season of M4L and we encourage you to invite your family, friends, neighbours, and co-workers to join us.
