June is Pride month. DRCC recognizes and celebrates Pride not only in June but all year. At our church we affirm and accept all our 2SLGBTQIA+ family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues. You are loved and you are worthy. As a faith family we will continue to stand up for, speak out for, and support our Pride community’s self-affirmation, dignity, equality, increase their visibility as a social group, build community, and celebrate diversity and gender variance. Everyone deserves to live their sexuality/ies and gender/s free from discrimination, persecution, and/or violence. We will continue to be proactive in this work. Our personal values and faith principles demand no less. Not just for the month of June but every month of every year. However long it takes. Love wins!!!

Today is National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people MMIWG2S+(Red Dress Day). We stand with the families who continue to seek truth, justice, and healing. And we acknowledge that this is not just a day of awareness, but a call to action.
