FEASTS & SOLEMNITIES FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE

June is truly a grace-filled month in the life of the Church. As the month dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, it is filled with beautiful celebrations that deepen our faith and remind us of God’s love, mercy, and presence in our lives. Here are some of the important feasts and solemnities we celebrate this June:

June 7 — Corpus Christi (Solemnity)
The Solemnity of Corpus Christi honors the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist—His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. This celebration reminds us that the Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life. Jesus truly remains with us in every Holy Mass and in every consecrated Host.

June 12 — Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (Solemnity)
One of the most beloved celebrations in the Church, this solemnity honors the loving Heart of Jesus, overflowing with mercy, compassion, and forgiveness. The Sacred Heart reminds us of Christ’s infinite love for humanity and calls us to trust in Him completely.

June 13 — Immaculate Heart of Mary (Memorial)
Celebrated the day after the Sacred Heart of Jesus, this memorial honors the pure and loving heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Her Immaculate Heart points us always toward her Son and teaches us how to love God faithfully and wholeheartedly.

June 13 — St. Anthony of Padua (Feast)
Known as the “Wonder Worker” and patron saint of lost things, Saint Anthony of Padua remains one of the most beloved saints in the Church. He is remembered for his holiness, powerful preaching, and deep knowledge of Scripture.

June 24 — Nativity of St. John the Baptist (Solemnity)
This solemnity celebrates the birth of John the Baptist, the one chosen by God to prepare the way for Jesus. His life reminds us of humility, repentance, courage, and faithful witness to Christ.

June 27 — Mother of Perpetual Help (Feast)
A beloved Marian devotion celebrated by many Catholics worldwide, especially in the Philippines. Under the title of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Mary reminds us that she continually intercedes for her children and leads us closer to Jesus.

June 29 — Saints Peter and Paul (Solemnity)
This solemnity honors Saint Peter and Saint Paul, two great pillars of the Church who dedicated their lives to preaching the Gospel. Their courage, faith, and martyrdom continue to inspire Christians around the world.

May this month of June draw us closer to Jesus through the Eucharist, the Sacred Heart, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the inspiring witness of the saints. Let us celebrate these sacred days with prayer, devotion, Holy Mass, and renewed faith.

For the first time ever, Catholics are holding a worldwide Marian and Eucharistic procession.

On June 13, the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, thousands will unite in prayer for peace.

According to the organizers, over 150 parishes across 6 continents are already preparing to participate, along with major Marian shrines including Fatima, Lourdes, Knock, and others.

June 3, 2026 IS FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH

A Devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help

Today, on the First Wednesday of June, let us turn our hearts to our loving Mother under the title of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Devotion. In every season of life—whether joyful or painful—we are reminded that we are never alone, for our Blessed Mother continually intercedes for us and leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

The image of Our Mother of Perpetual Help beautifully reflects comfort, protection, and hope. Many devotees throughout the world have experienced peace and strength through her prayers, especially during moments of fear, uncertainty, and hardship. Mary does not take away our crosses instantly, but she gently teaches us how to carry them with faith and trust in God.

As we begin this month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, may Mama Mary guide our hearts toward deeper prayer, repentance, and love for the Lord. Let this First Wednesday devotion remind us that no prayer is too small, no burden is too heavy, and no sinner is beyond God’s mercy.

Today, offer your intentions to Our Mother of Perpetual Help:
for your family, your vocation, your healing, your future, and the silent battles hidden within your heart. Ask her to wrap you in her mantle of protection and to help you remain faithful even in difficult times.

May Our Mother of Perpetual Help continue to accompany us this June and remind us that hope is always found in Christ. ❤️

Our Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for us.
