We extend our sincere appreciation to all who supported St. Luke’s Spring Tea.
Through your generosity, a total of $1625 was raised in support of the Say YES! to Kids campaign, benefiting the important work of Bryony House.

Thank you for your commitment to fostering compassion, dignity, and care within our community. Your support strengthens the mission of St. Luke’s and makes a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children seeking safety and hope.

Today was the Sunday school closing. The children received their certificates at the beginning of worship, then enjoyed games and snacks. The fun was then taken outside for a water fight and a change to "pie the priest." If they correctly answered questions about what they learned in Sunday School this year, they got to throw a pie. Rev. Matthew found out that they learned a lot!

Thank you to our Sunday school teachers and students for a fabulous year. We hope to see you in September!

Today is Say Yes! to Kids Sunday.

Today we give thanks for the children, youth, young adults, leaders, mentors, volunteers, and families who are part of ministries supported through Say Yes! to Kids, and for all youth-centred ministries across the Anglican Church of Canada.

As we gather for worship on this Third Sunday after Pentecost, let us pray:

O Lord Jesus Christ, who took little children into your arms and blessed them: Bless, we pray, the children and youth of our churches and communities. Grant that they may grow to know and love you, and give them each day your strength and guidance. Bless also the leaders, mentors, volunteers, clergy, and families who support them. Amen.

Today, may we give thanks for the young people among us—and for all those who help them discover God's love, their gifts, and their place in God's story.
