My kind of toast - we raised our ice creams in celebration of Anna Archibald who won 2 medals at the CKC Canadian Championships. Next week, Walk with Grace starts at 6:30pm. I'm sure we can find something else to celebrate with ice cream!

The weather forecast has the rain holding off until 8ish plus so we are planning our walk (and ice cream) beginning at 7pm. This is the last 7pm start; in Sept. we move to 6:30pm. We meet at the end of Nowlan St. by the bridge over the lock. Everyone welcome.

Today along with so many others, we remember with fondness Dolly Parton. She lived out her faith with acts of love, compassion and charity. Her song ,Coat of Many colours featured in one of our Kids corner videos that talked about Joseph's coat of many colours. But perhaps the Dolly-related story that produced the most amusement, was the Weekend Morning request of "I Will Always Love You" for Stephen and Debbie's 40th Anniversary only to find out it was a break-up song.
