Church on the Beach Church on the Beach is a non-denominational worship service held on Crystal / Bay Beach and operates as a ministry of the Crystal Ridge Dream Center

What a beautiful and unforgettable final service of our 2026 Church on the Beach season!

Nick Kish & Gabrielle led us in such a powerful and heartfelt time of worship. Steve Stoffelsen shared incredible testimonies of people who came believing for healing, received prayer and experienced healing in their lives. Some healings happened quickly, while others unfolded over time. It was a beautiful encouragement to continue believing, praying and trusting God, even when the answer does not come immediately.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude that 41 people made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour today! We also had the incredible privilege of witnessing 20 people publicly declare their faith through baptism.

What an amazing way to close these past eight weeks. We are so thankful for every life touched, every prayer prayed and every moment spent worshipping together on the beach.

A very special thank you to the founders of Church on the Beach, Bill and Diane Hein and Mary and Neil Boron, for believing in us and trusting us with this beautiful ministry. The Crystal Ridge Dream Center is absolutely honoured to continue carrying this ministry forward. We could not do what we do without their faithful and continued support.

We are also incredibly grateful for the support of WDCX, Kingdom Bound Ministries, and Dawn and the team at The Hope Chest. Thank you as well to every person who came out each Sunday, invited others, shared our posts and helped spread the word through social media. Each of you played an important part in making this season possible.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to Pastor Frank Kiss from Crystal Ridge Community Church for his willingness to serve as our MC throughout the season. His support and faithful leadership have been a wonderful example of what is possible when churches come together in unity to serve God’s Kingdom and reach people with the love and hope of Jesus.

Thank you to every team lead, volunteer and person who faithfully served behind the scenes. Your willing hearts, prayers and dedication helped make this entire season possible.

What a morning at Church on the Beach!

The skies certainly kept us watching today, and for a while it was touch and go, but the weather held and we were able to gather together on the beach. But our God! 🙏

We are so thankful for a beautiful time of worship and for Tanner Neufeld bringing such a powerful message, “Douse the Altar.” A reminder to stop settling for the easy or comfortable road, to go all in with Jesus, and to trust God with a bold faith that believes He is able to do what only He can do.

Thank you to every person who came out this morning, and to our incredible volunteers who continue to serve so faithfully each week. Seeing everyone gathered together, even under those dramatic skies, was pretty special.

We also want to apologize to those who were hoping to listen to the service afterward. We experienced some technical difficulties this morning and, unfortunately, the recording failed. We’re sorry that we aren’t able to share today’s service with you and truly appreciate your understanding.

And now we look ahead to next Sunday, August 30, for our final Church on the Beach service of the 2026 season and our Baptism Service! 💙

We are praying for clear skies, safe waters, and a beautiful morning as we celebrate those who have made the decision to publicly declare their faith in Jesus.

One more Sunday together on the beach. We can’t wait to see what God has in store.

IMPORTANT BAPTISM UPDATE

Due to E. coli being present in the water at Bay Beach and the current recommendation not to enter the water, we unfortunately need to postpone tomorrow’s baptisms.

The safety of everyone being baptized is incredibly important to us, so Baptism Sunday will now take place next Sunday, August 30th.

We know how much everyone has been looking forward to this special day, and while we’re disappointed to have to postpone the baptisms, we know this is the right decision.

A special thank you to Niagara Region Public Health for regularly testing our local beaches and keeping our community informed. You can view the current beach water testing results through Niagara Region’s website.

Lord willing, we’ll see you tomorrow morning at 8:45 AM for Church on the Beach!

TODAY’S REFLECTION | AWAKE THE SLEEPING POTENTIAL

What a beautiful morning together at Church on the Beach.

Today, Dr. Harrison Sharma Mungal reminded us that Jesus sees more in us than we see in ourselves.

Sometimes we look at our lives through the wrong mirror. The mirror of our past, rejection, criticism, failure, or the words others have spoken over us. But Jesus sees beyond where we have been. He sees who He created us to be, the potential He has placed within us, and where He is leading us.

We see the seed. God sees the harvest.
We see where we are. God sees where we are going.

May we leave today encouraged to see ourselves through His eyes and believe that there are still greater things ahead.

We were also so blessed to have Andrew Thompson, along with two of his children, lead us in worship this morning. Andrew has been part of Church on the Beach for 12 seasons, and we are incredibly thankful for the many years he has faithfully shared his gifts with us.

Thank you, Andrew and family, for leading us so beautifully today, and thank you, Dr. Harrison Sharma Mungal, for sharing such an encouraging message.

We look forward to welcoming Andrew and Harrison back again!

Next Sunday is a very special one at Church on the Beach as we celebrate Baptism Sunday! We are excited to welcome Aaron B Thompson to lead us in worship and to hear a message from Tanner Neufeld.

We cannot wait to gather together, celebrate those taking this important step of faith, and share another beautiful Sunday morning at the beach.

We’re looking forward to another wonderful Sunday at Church on the Beach!

Our guest speaker, Dr. Harrison Sharma Mungal, brings decades of ministry and mental-health experience and a passion for sharing biblical truth that brings hope and healing.

Worship will be led by Andrew Thompson, who has served the local church for more than 20 years and loves helping people draw closer to God through heartfelt worship.

Join us Sunday, August 16, from 8:45–10:00 AM at Bay Beach, Ashwood Entrance. Everyone is welcome!

What a powerful morning at Church on the Beach!

We were blessed to have Kelly Draper lead us in worship and Mark Johnson from Youth Unlimited YFC share from Matthew 14:13-21 - the feeding of the five thousand.

Mark reminded us that God’s Kingdom is marked by compassion, power, abundance and partnership. Jesus not only meets our deepest hunger; He also invites us to place what we have in His hands, even when it feels small or insufficient. Just as He multiplied the loaves and fish, Jesus can use what we surrender to Him to bring hope and life to others.
