Last night Wednesday June 24 was a beautiful time together at The Salvation Army Kootenay Valley Community Church. We worshipped together, ate a great meal together, saw new people and hugged old friends. And we also received the blessing of having God’s word spoken over us and being covered in prayer as this was our last church gathering in Cranbrook. After 4 years we’ve grown to love and care for our staff, guests, volunteers, fellow Cranbrook Ministerial colleagues- all precious people. Tears were shed and laughs were shared and we don’t like to say goodbye, so with much appreciation we say “see you later”-whether that be again in this life or the next.
May God’s blessings be yours as you all continue to partner with Him on the work that He is already doing in your beautiful corner of this world. ❤️

Well friends, today is Annual Change day in The Salvation Army and Jennifer and Myself have been appointed to Nanaimo effective July 3, 2026. We are sad to be leaving the Kootenays but are excited for the opportunity before us in Nanaimo. Please join us in welcoming Capts. Dawn and Geoff Butt and their family to the East Kootenays.
