Wrote this poem after getting up for water in the middle of the night. I glanced at the clock, it was 2:22 am. After laying in bed in contemplation and interaction with the Lord i grabbed my phone and started to write. The following morning I realized it was Passover the night before and when I opened my bible app the verse of the day was Luke 22:20

This too will Passover
By paul hansen
Stabbed in the back by a friend
With a kiss that would linger till the end
Only to be stabbed by a soldier in the side
blood and water poured out for his bride
The world has gone into a grave
But the lion is roaring be brave
My blood that fell to ground
Is crying out with a sound
Passover The darkness it will
The earth is mourning be still
We are caged in our homes like a womb
Ready to exit the tomb
His glory shall reign on the earth
It’s time for your second birth
A bride and an army now stands
A love pandemic in our lands
