Living Hope 30th Anniversary
May 1st-3rd

In 2026, the Alliance Church will have been in the Comox Valley for 30 years, so we are planning a fun-filled weekend to celebrate. Former pastors will be in attendance, and there will be lots of activities happening throughout the weekend. Feel free to extend invitations to any friends who have been part of the Living Hope (LH) family over the years.

What to expect on the weekend:
1. Friday night dinner - hosted by LH families, with former pastors and their families in attendance. Please contact the church office if you would like to attend a dinner.
2. Saturday men's and women's breakfasts at the church.
3. Saturday early afternoon walk at Seal Bay Park - two walks to choose from. Meet at the Park's parking lot on Bates Rd.
4. Saturday late afternoon beverages at a local restaurant/pub (TBD).
5. Saturday potluck pasta dinner at the hall. Will include a time of memories, testimonies and games. Current church members will be bringing the food to share with everyone.
6. Sunday morning worship - an extended service (10am-12pm) with a tea reception afterward.

How to Train your Dragon Movie Day
Saturday, November 1st in the Church Hall

Doors open at 12:15pm
How to Train your Dragon Live Action - 12:30pm
How to Train your Dragon 2 (animated) - 3:00pm

Grab your snacks and get comfy - it's movie day!! Join us for a cozy afternoon as we embark upon the rugged Isle of Berk and a Viking boy names Hiccup.

Doors open at 12:15pm, with How to Train your Dragon live action starting around 12:30pm. We will have a small break to stretch out, with How to Train your Dragon 2 (animated) starting around 3:00pm.

Please bring your own comfy camping chairs and drinks/snacks. We hope to see you there!!
