A huge thank you to Pastor Jesse for bringing such a powerful and timely message today at Fountaingate Christian Assembly.

“GOD MEETS US IN THE FIRE.” 🔥✝️

Just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace, God doesn’t always keep us from the fire—but He is faithful to meet us in the middle of it.

When the king looked into the furnace, he didn’t just see three men—there was a fourth man walking in the fire! 🙌

Whatever fire you’re walking through today, remember: YOU ARE NOT WALKING THROUGH IT ALONE. GOD IS WITH YOU!

David did not promote himself as king. God anointed him, and in God's time, the anointing upon his life became evident to everyone.

"Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward." (1 Samuel 16:13)

The anointing of God produces evidence. Let your faithfulness, humility, obedience, character, and the fruit of your life reveal what God is doing through you.

"Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." (Zechariah 4:6)

True anointing is not about receiving recognition from people — it is about being used by God for His glory. You do not need to seek a platform when God has called you. Stay faithful in the place where God has planted you, and when the time is right, He knows how to make His purpose for your life known.

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time." (1 Peter 5:6)

Walk with God, stay humble, and remain faithful. When God anoints you, the anointing will announce you in His perfect time.

Jesus warned us to be careful of those who appear to be righteous on the outside but have evil intentions in their hearts. Not everyone who speaks about God is truly sent by God. That is why we must know the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to give us discernment.

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." (Matthew 7:15)

False prophets may sound convincing, but Jesus said that we can recognize people by the fruit of their lives. A true servant of God will lead people toward Jesus Christ, truth, holiness, and obedience to God's Word.

"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." (Matthew 7:20)

Do not be deceived. Test every teaching by the Word of God, and remain close to Jesus. When you know the truth, you will be better able to recognize deception.

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God." (1 John 4:1)

Stay in God's Word, pray for discernment, and follow Jesus faithfully. The sheep who know the voice of the Good Shepherd will not have to follow the voice of a stranger.

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27)

💧✝️ WATER BAPTISM — A PUBLIC DECLARATION OF A CHANGED LIFE ✝️💧

There is something incredibly powerful about watching someone step into the waters of baptism. It is more than a ceremony or tradition—it is an act of faith, obedience, and surrender to Jesus Christ.

Jesus Himself was baptized, and He calls His followers to follow Him in baptism.

📖 Matthew 28:19–20
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

Baptism beautifully represents leaving the old life behind and rising to walk in the new life Christ has given us.

📖 Romans 6:4 reminds us that through baptism we identify with Christ’s death and resurrection so that “we too might walk in newness of life.”

Following Jesus isn’t only about hearing His Word—it’s about obeying His teachings. Jesus said:

📖 John 14:15 — “If you love me, keep my commands.”

Obedience doesn’t earn our salvation; we are saved by God’s grace through faith. But obedience is a response to that grace—a heart saying, “Jesus, You are my Lord, and I choose to follow You.”

Every baptism tells a story:
The old is gone. Christ has made me new. I belong to Jesus. I will follow Him. 🙌

May we never be ashamed to publicly declare the One who gave His life for us.

✝️ RAISED TO NEW LIFE.
🕊️ WALKING IN OBEDIENCE.
🔥 LIVING AS AN OVERCOMER.

Proverbs 4:13-19 (KJV)
Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.

For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
