Church of Zion- United Pentecostal Church of Corner Brook Welcome to the Facebook home of Corner Brook's Church of Zion pastored by Rev. D. Steeves. We are a member of the United Pentecostal Church International.

The Church of Zion is an evangelical United Pentecostal Church. We are trying to bring the truth of God to the city of Corner Brook, Newfoundland. The truth that we carry is that God is One and He is not made up of three persons or Deities (as in the doctrine of the Trinity) but instead reveals Himself to mankind through different manifestations. "Hear, 0 Israel: the Lord our God is ONE LORD." Deut. 6:4. This commandment given to Israel is confirmed in the New Testament (Mark 12:29) and must be obeyed by all Christians today. "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." James 2:19. Although He has many manifestations, the bible teaches of three main offices or positions God holds. He manifested himself as the Father in Creation, the Son in Redemption and the Holy Ghost/Spirit in emanation. From this belief we also believe that baptism in the name of Jesus according to Acts 2:38 is biblical and a requirement of salvation along with repentance and the infilling of the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in an unknown language.
