As children and families prepare to return to school, we invite our community to join us for our Blessing of Backpacks & School Children at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church.

This is more than a blessing of backpacks. It is a time to pray for our children, teachers, families and school staff, and to remind every child that they are known, loved and prayed for as they begin a new school year. 💙🙏

🎒 Help us bless a child in our community

Last year, we became aware that some children were unable to attend our blessing because they did not have a backpack or school supplies to bring.

This year, we want to make sure that every child has the tools they need to learn, grow and succeed.

We are gratefully accepting donations of new school supplies or financial contributions to help us prepare backpacks for local children.

📚 Items needed include:

* 24-pack crayons
* Pencils
* Markers
* Glue sticks
* White erasers
* Scissors
* Small pencil sharpeners

Even a small gift can make a big difference. ❤️

You can donate school supplies at the church during office hours or on Sundays. Financial gifts will be used to purchase supplies and complete the backpacks.

Let’s begin the school year together with hope, kindness, prayer and support.

🎒 Bring your backpack. Bring your children. Bring your hopes and worries for the year ahead. Most of all, come knowing that God goes with you every step of the way.
