🌞 Alhamdulillah, what a wonderful start to Day 1 of the Sabeel Corner Brook Summer Camp! 🎉

Yesterday our campers had a fantastic time getting to know one another through fun games and activities. They enjoyed friendly rounds of Jenga, got creative by decorating their own glass jars, and wrapped up the day with hands-on Play-Doh creations. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, creativity, teamwork, and smiling faces from everyone involved. 😊

This is just the beginning, and we're looking forward to many more exciting activities, learning opportunities, and unforgettable memories over the coming weeks, in shā' Allāh.

A heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers for their hard work in making the first day such a success, and thank you to all the parents for trusting us with your children.

May Allah ﷻ place barakah in this camp, allow our children to benefit, build lasting friendships, and make it a source of goodness for everyone involved.

Āmīn. 🤲

🌿 From mountain trails to dinner tables, what a day! 🌿

Alhamdulillah, we had an incredible day with our youth as we celebrated Eid together through a scenic hike, good company, and plenty of fun along the way. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Allah’s creation, strengthen friendships, and build lasting memories as a community.

We then wrapped up the adventure with a fantastic community lunch featuring cheese and chicken pizza, chicken alfredo, chicken and spinach rosé pasta, chicken skillet, and many happy faces around the table.

We ask Allah ﷻ to bless our youth, reward all the volunteers and parents who made this event possible, and continue to unite our community upon goodness and faith.

On Thursday, April 2nd, Dr. Shahid (President), Dr. Alhassan (Secretary), and the Imam of the Sabeel Corner Brook Islamic Centre were honoured as guests of the Corner Brook Rotary Club at the Glynmill Inn.

The President delivered a 15-minute presentation titled “Muslim Community in Corner Brook: Visibility, Solidity, and Solidarity,” highlighting our journey since 2018 and the establishment of our mosque and community centre.

The session was followed by thoughtful questions and meaningful engagement. We are grateful for the warm reception and growing interest in our community.
