Diocesan Mission Conference and Philip said he hadn’t been to something as energizing and encouraging for a long time. The whole event exceeded expectations at every point….well done to the organizers and volunteers. Feeling blessed and grateful 🔥🔥🔥 but not entirely sure why there are no pics of the St Laurence team or much of the Archbishop 🙈🙈

Morning Prayer | Pentecost Week - The Spirit in Four Movements

Lectio divina for the week of Pentecost, exploring the Holy Spirit from four different angles. From the intimate breath of a locked room to the public wind of Acts 2. From the Spirit who prays when we have no words to the quiet fruit that grows in daily life. Each day offers a short scripture, a moment of stillness, and an invitation to notice where the Spirit is already at work.
Monday: John 20:19–22 - Breath
Tuesday: Acts 2:1–12 - Fire
Thursday: Romans 8:26–28 - Sighs
Friday: Galatians 5:22–25 - Fruit

Morning Prayer returns this Monday.

For two weeks, Philip will be livestreaming Morning Prayer on YouTube at 8 AM - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (Wednesdays have our regular 9 AM morning Bible study and communion at the church).

This week we pray into Pentecost. Next week, Trinity Sunday.

The format is Lectio Divina - a slow, attentive reading of the coming Sunday's scripture, with space for silence and reflection with Philip offering some thoughts. It's about 30 minutes. You don't need to say anything or turn your camera on. Just show up with your coffee and let the day begin differently.

Whether you've joined us before or this is the first you've heard of it, you're welcome.

📅 25–29 May & 1–5 June
⏰ 8:00 AM (Pacific)
